Can anyone find an old instagram post or article quote where she is actually giving him a compliment or lifting him up as Bianca does all the time. When anyone says how hot he’s looking Bianca immediately agrees with 🔥 or 🥵 yet Alice just insults his looks and even posted about hoping Elsie doesn’t get his nose. Her constant posting of throwback photos shows how obsessed she is with looks, I hope she’s not projecting that onto the girls because it seems she’s not that bothered about their education or character.

This, combined with the fact that he didn't deliver on their Hollywood expectations, split them. He grew up, she didn't, et voilà, la merde hit the fan.

I’m with @screamin.lisa on this one, I’ve never believed Ioan said this. I think it’s likely they argued about her tweets and she doubled down by tweeting this to embarrass him. The description is so OTT ‘gracious, dignified, kind, non-judgemental’ that it has an air of ‘the most wonderful woman ever’ about it. I agree with you, it makes Ioan sound like a deluded prig. And that’s likely exactly why Alice posted it.

I bet he just said something like “this isn’t something the woman I married would say,” then she ran the quote through her Alice-exaggerator/reality distorter and came up with what she posted. I think Alice often takes tiny morsels of truth and dramatizes them almost beyond recognition.

I too read this and thought “who did he think he married,” because clearly he had no idea. He seemed to have had an extreme level of naïveté as a young adult, to the point that he was unable to detect less than honorable motives in others. I always think of the story about him almost joining that religious cult as a young man (in acting school?) when I think about how clueless he was about Alice early on. He probably had very little romantic experience as well, and that combination made him such easy prey for Alice. It’s so sad to think about, how different his life would have been had he first fallen in love with someone without a major personality disorder. He is obviously so loyal to have stayed with Alice as long as he did; I doubt he would have divorced an average woman.

She actually did. I remember her under a "who is the sexiest man for you" post her writing "Ioan Gruffudd" and sharing pics of him, another time someone shared a pic of Harrow of him being half-naked, and she said something like "this old lady here almost fainted". I mean it was part of her supply in the end to brag that she is married to an attractive dude, but the big difference is she put him 90 % of the time down.

I think he did said it. Keep in mind that Ella appears to say similar deluded things about Alice (ok, it does look a bit embarrassing because he was 45, not 15, but at least he appeared to not blindly do every unreasonable tit she wanted, which she heavily complained about years later). perhaps he wasnt fully believing it at that stage (it was 2019, certainly he was starting to see more and more through her), but he was certainly hoping it

i'm glad he appears to have found someone that fits the description.

Coming back to this because it's my favourite part of the filing

1. he gets victim blamed for wanting to have custody and eventually stepping back because Alice was abusing the system
2. he gets blamed for not keep paying a expired order that was 7 times higher than what he would be legally required before overpayments
3. he gets blamed for not following (probably unreasonable) suggestions while Alice can breach court orders left and right

Generally Alice's team is massively mispurposing the custody evaluation btw. the purpose is to help the judge or the parents (depending on whether it goes to trial or gets settled) make a decision about custody. That's all. Since the judge made no judgement (even seemed to be sceptical about it in the trsnscript) and also their own stipulation isnt mentioning it it doesnt carry any weight (just a "expert" opinion you can use should custody be re-opened at some point). yet they use it as a rule book not only for custody (which even then would be incorrect) but also the whole divorce (!), which is completely overreaching their competence. It really shows they have nothing.

ETA: Also her team should learn the difference between breaching your DVRO and getting criminally convicted for it 🤦‍♀️
