Yeah, you're gonna have to move
My cat is bleeping useless at catching spiders
That being said, so you have those horrible big/venomous ones where you live?
I know spiders have their uses, and ive come to accept the ones that live in my garden, but if they come inside, I'm like a lunatic, because they scare me; nearly as much as this lovely photo

Not are they only akimbo, but her nips are out too
Trying to give me nausea before dinnertime?
What a horrible photo. Does she see it as attractive, I wonder?
(Going to make chanterelle risotto -- it is my turn to cook tonight.)
Unlike the Abuser, the spiders are actually lovely. We do not have tarantulas over here, just different types of spiders. Mostly outdoors: gardens, meadows, forests. Auxiliary farm buildings everywhere, cellars, sheds, and so on. They are doing a good job culling annoying flies and mosquitoes.
And in the recent years, some of the European house spiders have also reached that far north. These are the largest: 8-10 cms. They seem to like humans. Somehow they show up indoors when autumn is nearing and are very curious -- they keep coming close to Mr B and I and even the kitty, sit quietly nearby and seem to observe what we are up to. We decided to let them have a corner in one of the bathrooms (and in late summer they're temporarily allowed to kitchen as well as all the berries and fruit is a major draw for flies and as we are not afraid of spiders, it can be rather useful to have them). Interestingly, the spiders (usually 2, sometimes 3) are not afraid of us but when we have visitors, they shy away. Truly fascinating. I wonder, do they view us as failed spiders -- the same way cats view us as failed cats...
Our kitty keeps spiders in check -- when they start to weave their webs elsewhere, he eats these forbidden webs (apparently an excellent source of protein and amino acids). However, he never attacks the spiders, just observes them back. Or when the kitty has been too lazy, we'll just gently remove them.
If Andrea really did go to court in person to observe it first hand, it is really cool!
She'll witness the transformation -- how the abusive bully becomes damsel in distress yet again...
