As long as she brings in clicks, and that she does, she still retains a value for them. Once the divorce is fully over and there’s nothing new court wise, they’ll flip the script on her

To give Alice credit, she seems to have spoken out against the harmful movement in the States before, and she definitely (to my knowledge) hasn't posted in support of LGBT people or women having their rights limited or removed.

Checking out the profiles of some of her supporters who have publicly commented in her favor, I was shocked to see some of the bigoted or hateful posts they make towards LGBT, or the type of hateful accounts they follow.

But to them people who read the court documents with literal proof of abuse is toxic and rude and horrible?? Its not making sense to my brain at all🥴

Alice once said on twitter (pre-separation) that she and Ioan are not supporting the hate against JKR but they will never talk about it out of fear of being cancelled (I like where she draws the line LOL)

I think there is a difference between a celeb being transphobic and a celeb being just not extremely woke. Someone like Amanda Abbington (who Alice supports) is clearly someone that pretended to be simply just not extremely woke but her mask slipped and it's pretty obvious that she is transphobic.

With not extremely woke I mean things like thinking that its unfair to have biological men competing in women categories (huge advantage) or that minors shouldnt be able to decide if they want to do this (it would be very ironic if Alice ever speaks out for this because she was advocating for her kids to make a even more life changing decision). I think being supportive of LGBT but speaking out against these aspects is fine. But most homophobes obsessively speak out against everything and sooner or later use homophobic slurs too.

So I have no idea where Alice stands in this aspect. I wont assume anything negatively in this aspect since she has been very wise to stay away from such topics. The only thing I know is that she can't hide her racism, it has shone through in at least two occasions (when she was trying to dictate a black man what to think on twitter and when she was reasoning why Ella needs a rich girl school instead of schools with high percentages of foreign language speakers), but not enough to actually cancel her. Obviously her feed is not dedicated to any of these things, so she is fairly safe. And I also suspect that she is just a unconscious racist, like a lot of people are (me possibly included as well)

I have said it before in respect to her being silent about Gaza, but it's one of the few things I do give her credit for: She is managing it pretty well to not voice opinions that can cancel her. Since she isnt someone that can manage herself well I will give her in this case the benefit of the doubt and assume that her world view - ignoring things that personally affect her (like being against no fault divorces or being a misogynist just because a woman is dating your ex) - is pretty sound.

Her fanbase used to be pretty democratic. Mostly because she was trying really hard to be that ultra-democratic person (not saying she isnt, again, even though it's better for a celeb to be seen as democratic than conservative) that tolerated absolutely nothing from the other side. This changed with her divorce. Her arguments against Ioan are very based on conservative ideas: no fault divorces shouldnt be a thing, marriage is forever etc etc. I think this scared a big part of her democratic fanbase away (not all, because for many having a celeb "friend" is too important), especially once it became clear that it was a abusive relationship which is the main reason why people are in favour of no fault divorces, and attracted a enormous amount of conservatives (obviously there are certainly also democratic people that liked her narrative possibly because they think the same that happened to her happened to them, but I am sure it's far less common, just like the vice-versa). I think while her fanbase used to be 99/1 in favour of democrats it is likely now at best 50/50 (probably worse). This is likely also why she has stopped these kind of posts.

edit: I also suspect that a lot of the Xmas Card crew who mostly just recently started to be interested in her due to their FB group lean more into that direction.

I was low key scared I liked/laughed at it after the negative reaction to it…..relieved when Yel said no one had. Sense of humour can get a bit weird after a beer 🥴

In order for someone to be cancelled, they have to be somewhat famous. Alice isn’t. Nobody cares. Her ex colleagues don’t even speak about her. She gets no interaction from them on IG no matter how much she tries.

I actually had to read it twice to get the jist of it and it was definitely close to the knuckle but it most certainly was in no way threatening nor was Alice's safety being threatened. I do think being more mindful is a good thing and giving her less ammunition.

I've actually had two other ones done a while ago, from this artist, but they were in a kinda fantasy style. I loved one so much, that I had it tattooed - last session was 10 days ago, so it's still healing.

I’m highly suspicious of a pretty nasty unsavoury post which was up for 60-odd seconds was screenshot and posted on Twitter/x/instagram. The fact that it was moderated pretty quickly only proves the process on here. I wonder why she went off so much about here, it usually screams there’s a court order or sanction against big Al the cunts bleep. I think I’ve maybe earned some Yobucks for more vodka?
I’ve had a tough week. Rest in eternal peace my beloved lady that I looked after. My heart is broken for her husband of 70+ years. They really were a married couple to aspire to.
 
Can I please add that during my toughest of times I can log on here and get an amazing response when I truly need it. I try to shield my children from the harshness of life, tonight I was told by a complete stranger how so well behaved and respectful they are. I put a lot of hard work into those kids and it has been totally validating hearing that. As I near my first wedding anniversary I applaud the thread you made for me, it made me laugh so much during my best time. Love you all, genuinely. Not in that narc way Alice does. The fm cans bite my banger.
