It’s no different to saying, someone should share that they’re a mum as some people can’t have children and it might make them feel inadequate.

I'm not shaming her. I said I get that she's proud. I'm saying that she is a influencer with a large following, some of which will be struggling by seeing her constant updates. I was stating facts. This is a gossip thread.
 
If you’re pumping and BFing, it’s completely normal to have oversupply issues. By the time my baby left NICU, I could literally fill a small freezer full of milk and I was in no way unusual in comparison to the other mums choosing to pump who were there. The argument that Alice shouldn’t post pics of her milk because it might upset others is silly. Triggers are everywhere. There’s lots that’s problematic with Alice, but I’m not sure this is one of them.

I never said she shouldn't post it 🤣 I commented on how her constant milk supply updates may trigger other people. This is a gossip thread I'm allowed to comment on what I think.

It seems everyone is triggered by something. If someone else’s milk supply causes another to be triggered then I’d say they need some help!

I'd say that most new post partum mums probably do get easily triggered when it comes to BF and expressing to be fair and there's nothing wrong with that. I dont think that means they "need help". It's really hard work. And I wish some of these influencers were more open about how hard it can be. However, it seems to be going really well for her and I am genuinely happy that she has such a big supply. I was only commenting that it may be a bit triggering to see the huge amount she was producing in ALL of her videos. Can we move on now please. 😴
 
My thing is that Alice does everything for clout- so she’s likely exaggerating her supply which may make new mums worried about what they’re producing/feeding baby, especially when she has a large following of young impressionable people. Instead of showing off, she could have actually educated here.

I think the pressure on new mums to BF is what causes a lot of PPD. It’s hard work, it’s painful and it’s most certainly not easy. However, no mum should be comparing themselves to another new mum. More BF support before and after birth is what’s required and honesty from midwives and Doctors about how hard it is and how it doesn’t work for everyone.

I do completely agree. I do feel there's far more support now with this babe then there was when I had my daughter in 2016 which is good.
