ITV obviously see it as ‘filler’ in between Love Island and IAC. Which is fine, but Big Brother done properly is far superior to either. It’s not been doing ‘properly’ for years though. The 2023 ITV series was close, but this year there was far too much producer interference and stuff wasn’t allowed to play out naturally. The HOH thing ruined it for me. Why couldn’t they just them nominate the old fashioned way?

Yes quite .. also the 9.00pm slot on the main channel is the money slot as far as advertisers are concerned. Big Brother or one of the week long new dramas which have become very popular. You decide 😉

Big Brother as it's a stand alone show.

The market for dramas is saturated on all channels. There is only so many ways you can write about police trying to find a killer.

I’m not disagreeing, it’s just more people watch the dramas ergo more advertising revenue for the main channel.
