Alexandra Stedman #12

Aaarggg I really want to see the ad!
I looked in Rightmove for Wood Green but couldn’t find it.

I think they will be moving soon.

A tattler on the ground spotted Alex on a school tour quite a few weeks ago so they must be quite far down the line to be looking at schools - my feeling is they've bought an ex rental or probate property so there's no chain at the other end and will be in asap so they can get the school application in.
Not necessarily. The older one would get in via in-year admissions (provided they’re close enough and there are places) and then the little would get a sibling priority (even though the deadline is in Jan, you have a couple more months to edit the address etc)

Just search N22 and include under offer/SSTC properties, it's on there. £950k.

Found it, thank you!
I somehow thought she lived slightly further south.
Wonder how much they actually got, 950k is somewhat steep for the area.

Finally pinpointed who she reminds me of

Didi Pickles!

Bought less? Is she really that deluded?? Clothes maybe, but what about all the endless Tiger tat and splatterware etc?

The scary thing is she likely did cut back, but she’s starting from such a point of massive excess that it’s still excessive over consumption.

Realistically she could do a no buy decade and still have clothes & shoes to last her…

I was just thinking about her post about reusing. Christmas cards and I honestly don't know anyone under 70 who receives more than a few cards each year! Are most of hers from brands she's either "worked with" or hoping to work with her next year? Tis the season for freebies after all.

Or it could just be me being a miserable bastard who cant be bothered sending cards and reaping what I sow!!

I’ve come here to vent as I’ve had to step away from her post. I don’t know if she is posting this as she thinks it fits her ‘brand’ or if she actually believes it but how on this Earth can she possibly say that she has bought less! It is a complete lie - she has had new after new after new this year - she’s either posted about it or (mostly) ‘sneaked’ the new (or new to her) items onto her SM. But to say she’s bought less is shocking and has actually angered me. And buying secondhand - whilst great - isn’t buying less, she’s bought old and new in equal and totally over the top amounts. It angers me that she’s posting it and everyone is lapping it up. I feel like I want to say something but what’s the point 🤷‍♀️

I’ve only had cards off mum, dad, niece and grandma this year. It’s the same for birthdays as well 🥲

I haven’t really sent cards in about 10 years, I always found it such a joyless task and does anyone really look at them/bother if they have no cards. I send to my dad, MIL and 90 year old uncle and husband and I exchange cards so we have the grand total of 3 cards this year. They’re so expensive and the price of a stamp is criminal now. I just make a donation to charity instead,

I like sending cards. I find some pretty ones on sale in January and make sure I have some Christmas stamps. I like getting them too. Just nice to see something in my post box. Even if someone has only given it a minutes thought, it's still kind and I appreciate it.
