I got a “cashmere” cover foundation ages ago from Aldi (but this year). I only opened it the other day and it has an odd smell. Not off but quite odd. Two people have told me my makeup looks great since opening it, so I’ll keep using it.

I see Aldi have dupes of the Nuxe oil and shower gel. I actually like the originals enough to pay full price and love the smell, wonder how Aldi's versions compare.

I still haven't quite recovered from the last face oil bought from Aldi which smells like it'd be better used for making a curry .

I got the oil dupe the last time Aldi had it as I love the original. It started off smelling lovely but it soon faded into smelling like wet dog to me!

I bought quite a lot of the Elemis dupes from Aldi to try , so far I have only used the marine oil , it’s so light but very moisturising, love it , I also bought the essence , day cream , cleanser and mask

They've always had a rhubarb (& rose I think) handwash that smells very similar the MB's version.

They are so good! I’ll be honest we are chocolate snobs but I’ve had five people try them and all asked me to get more. Prefer these ones to the blue ones personally. I’d say they are ‘lighter’ than a Ferrero Rocher personally

I’ve gone right off Lidl at the moment. Their advent calendar offers are tit. Every day there’s 15pc of some weird German liqueur or disgusting looking chemical treat that I’d never wanted anyway.

Bring back the spin of surprises!

Also please bring back my Madagascar chocolate. I’ve tried four different Lidls in different parts of England recently and think it is GONE

I'm in stupid Dublin though... Has anyone seen them in our Aldis?

My store had them a few weeks ago. I would recommend cooking for a bit longer than the packet instructions or on a higher temp. I found them a bit undercooked in the middle and not golden enough, so I tried again with the oven at 190 and they were much nicer

I went to Aldi this morning after the storm stopped where I live and it was a bit busy but nothing major. I went back this afternoon as I had forgotten something - 3pm - and it was almost empty. I couldn't believe it. But anyway.
I bought the Specially Selected Biscuits for Cheese - wow they are they good. I bought the M&S ones last week for a friend so we did a bit of a trial this afternoon. Aldi all the way.

Bought 2 bags of the Aldi ones... Gonna try them at the weekend
