Couldn’t buy themselves a new family car without the help of bank of mummy and daddy though could they. Priorities all wrong from Sian and Callum, and their mum and dad are clearly ok with being taken for mugs and being used for their money.
Their argument will be they have used their dvc, probably barely going into the parks and found cheap flights but we all know that its still costing stupid money and whats the point of going over Christmas and not enjoying the parks. She also hinted at a cruise in 2025 on the vlog.
Even if flights are reasonable you still have to pay for 4 seats. That’s £2,000 at least right?!
Callum obviously still hasn’t gone back to work. Goodness knows how long JLP give him off but it would rub me the wrong way if I was his colleague and I had to pick up his slack whilst he was at home making candles and swanning off to Disney all because one of his swimmers managed to catch on on the right month.

He's working but changed his job so it's a set amount of days a week and can work from home or something like that she said. I think it was one of the videos before jasper was born.

One of the downsides to DVC over the holidays if you have left it late to book. Honestly that sounds exhausting constantly having to move and with 3 kids

Disneyworld at Christmas with a baby less than 3 months old sounds like utter hell to me. I really don't get the flex of "we've been keeping a little secret"....oh do duck off love! No one gives a tit.

Even if they are using their dvc points it’s not cheap when you factor in the cost of the dues. We rent our points out a lot but if we use them the cost of the dues is factored into the costs. I hate hearing Lisa and ade, dalimore etc saying we are dvc so it’s all prepaid upfront when we bought in, yeah that is true but you have to pay dues. We were going to use some points this year to do resort only for ten days but by the time we factored in flights, spending money and dues for the amount of points we were using was coming out around £5000 that was for two of us and no parks so not a ‘cheap break’ that’s why we are now renting points as it’s so expensive

They live in Leicestershire which is a quite a cheap place to live. They both have jobs and the girls go to state school. Why is everyone surprised they can afford holidays?

Because I also live in a ‘cheap’ place with a very low mortgage and two paid off cars, with a household income of just under £100k, and there’s no way we could afford a £12k cruise and £4k WDW trip in the same year.
They live in Market Harborough it's not a cheap place to live in Leicestershire. There's a difference between a holiday and going to Disney over Christmas and new year as well as having a new baby and going on an expensive cruise while also hinting at another cruise for next year.
Sian if you're reading this, please consider doing a warts and all vlog showing the realistic highs and lows of taking a 2 month year old on a long haul flight to Disney world. I'm due in January and my husband is already obsessed with the idea, meanwhile I'd like to wait a good few years until past toddler stage at least! So anything to help put him off would be great

Just googled and found out Waitrose offer 6 months paid parental leave, 14 weeks at full pay and 12 weeks half pay, so that's why he's still off. Wow I'm jealous

Sian if you're reading this, please consider doing a warts and all vlog showing the realistic highs and lows of taking a 2 month year old on a long haul flight to Disney world. I'm due in January and my husband is already obsessed with the idea, meanwhile I'd like to wait a good few years until past toddler stage at least! So anything to help put him off would be great

Don’t be put off taking a small child away!
We took our then 9 month old to LA, then when he was 20 months we took him to Hawaii and now call us crazy but we’re taking a 2 1/2 year old and what will be a 4 month old to Miami in January!
Honestly it’s not as bad as you think taking long hauls with littlies! Just ask for the bassinet seat and you get extra legroom.
Also for anyone who may be jealous of the far flung destinations we’ve been able to take our kids, we make hellava lot of sacrifices (drive older cars/don’t go out for expensive coffees/don’t buy matching jumpers for gender reveals) build up air miles/plan the trips out of busy expensive seasons - it can be done. Not the Knapps though going peak seasons and buying alllll the stuff
