Gary is definitely more moonfaced, but it's more apparent from the side with him. He's also wearing much looser-fitting clothes, so he can hide more sins.

With Adam, the beard just accentuates how soft his jawline is now. If he doesn't want to put in the effort to lose the weight, fine, but he'd be better served by a goatee in that case.
 
Gary said he didn’t want to go on Adam’s current trip because it’s too soon after the last one. I think he cares more about collecting merch and taking photos than the actual parks. I’m sure Adam would have wanted to have him there again. I don’t see Gary going so often anymore unless they go to somewhere different like Tokyo. He’s not into WDW as much as the others.

Whilst they both annoy me at times I do find Adam one of the better vloggers compared to Disney in detail or the lodge guys. His blog tonight was more informative than any of theirs lockers, wheelchair rental etc.
I’m not raving but just want to clear something up about dvc. I own dvc have done for many years. Your not not locked in, I go to many places other than Orlando. They have a trade system with another timseshare company that I’ve used many times for other holidays around the world, you simply trade your yearly points for a different holiday and the rates are good. You can rent your points and make quite abit of money. Last two years I’ve rented mine out not only has the rental covered my yearly dues but also made me a good amount of money extra. It’s very lucrative. During covid I enquired about selling my points and although I’ve had mine for over ten years I would’ve made back what I bought them for if I decided to sell. So not your not locked in if you don’t want to be. Also the upgrade, I’ve been upgraded before funnily enough at the yacht and beach, no explanation given but guess dvc might have had something to do with it and when I bought mine from Disney they gave me extra points to be used in the first year for free, was like an offer so he might have got that as well
Another thing to add I don’t like the criticism of Gary in a wheelchair. My parent spent five years on and off in a wheelchair before a neurological diagnosis was given. They didn’t know what was wrong but just knew they couldn’t tolerate walking for long periods. They ended up being confined unable to walk. Don’t judge as we just don’t know
 
I think Adam came off really well in this vlog as he does do a lot for Gary yes he wouldn't get the views without Gary but I think he genuinely cares for his friend.
The room upgrade I've known loads of people get up graded that are not on YouTube its just luck of the draw with Disney I think. We had $800 taken off our tab as our tv in the room didn't work for a day.
I don't really get how Gary couldn't walk round Epcot but could walk round springs in the same day I know he doesn't have to tell people what's wrong with him but it would help people to understand.

Completely agree, I think it's great he does giveaways, but I'm sure most of his viewers don't go to Disney as much as he does and would prefer a prize that is not so expensive and just going to sit on a shelf.

It was so embarrassing. I mean, regular people do occasionally get upgraded for a night or two, if room inventory calls for it. They got pixie dusted by chance not because their viewers love them.

Just for once I'd like to see his holiness stay in a regular room for normal people.

it’s the fact he was so quick to assume it’s because of his Vlogs and that he’s somehow more important than “regular people” that annoyed me

Sure it may have been because of his channel but as people have mentioned here , random free upgrades can happen anytime to anyone
 
I've been reading the snark here for the past year, and some of you are so creatively vicious - I love it.

I actually ended up going to Disney World back in January, somewhat 'influenced' by Adam and Gary. No, I didn't go 'because of them', but I did find their videos amusing, and it helped expose me to the parks, and what a 'Disney Vacation' could be. So, I guess they are successful in their 'money making venture' to some extent. Ironically, I was in Magic Kingdom the same day as Adam on his 'late January' DVC trip. I was joking with my partner that we'd see him - little did I know... I likely walked right by him. I don't know how people regularly 'walk up and say hello' to him while filming - I mean, Disney World is so fucking busy - do people just stare at everyone? Pretty pathetic, honestly.

ANYWAYS... a few random thoughts on the vlogs, and relationship:

  1. For all the hate here - Adam isn't nearly as insufferable as some of the other Disney vloggers. I mean, most of them have the 'dead eyes' look - in particular the vlogs where it's a husband/wife going together. Usually, the guy either looks suicidal with a fake "kill me now" smile, or he's obviously gay/in the closet, and is way too into dudes dressed up like characters..
  2. Adam and Gary seem to actually like each other - but like any gay men - they can be bitchy towards each other. I mean, traveling with anyone for a week+ at a time is tiring/frustrating - I think we sometimes see that in their videos.
  3. I don't know how Gary affords all his pins/merchandise. I also don't understand why they buy so much junk. I was in the park for a week, and bought one 'souvenir' as a memento.
  4. Their "we're tired and going back to the room' routine where they spend like 25% of their time actually in the park, and the rest at the hotel or looking for pins... yea, it's odd. I think people like this (that go to Disney every other month...) take pride in not going on rides, and 'making the most' of the park. It's like, "Yea, I go to the parks regularly - I usually take it easy at the parks, because I'll be going back.". It's a classist thing.
  5. I don't know how people can go to Disney World this often. The place literally doesn't change from decade to decade, beyond a new ride or two.

Anyways, random thoughts, feel free to bitch at me for them.
