It's remarkable to me how utterly shit Adam is at filming the parks themselves. Given that I'm currently trapped in an Omicron hellscape, I will pull up travel videos, Disney and otherwise, to get my mind elsewhere. I'm doing some documentation, and I have a video of one of the last performances of Illuminations playing. It just...I don't know, transports me away for a bit. Even ride videos can do that if they're well filmed.

Adam just shoots himself, and even when he does show stuff, like the video from Frozen Ever After, he picks such poor material to include. And that's probably the best of bad things that he shot.

The new vlogs and the way he speaks to Gary have sent me looking for a thread on him.

And I bought his book. As a family who have the privilege to be lucky enough WDW we stay at the All Star Resorts. And his attitude towards them is so fucking snobby. Like he's better than the All Star Resorts, only the riff raff stay there.

My fascination in him died long ago. He's a snob.

I've stayed at Pop Century before. Really, the only thing it's got over the All Stars is the Skyliner.

Even Universal's value resorts blow the Disney moderate resorts out of the water, if you REALLY want to get snobby.

The main things is, is that it’s clean and has got everything you need. Adam Hattan is just a vile snob 😡 ripping people off with shit fruit of the loom jumpers and charging £15 for 100ml candle, you can buy a large Yankee candle for that, he’s laughing all the way to the bank

Yeah we stayed there for the first time last month and thought it was good; we just used the room to sleep in really but it was nice and we said we would stay again. The only downside for us as we don’t have kids, is it doesn’t have a bar we can relax in after the parks just a food court area but we were sometimes so knackered after the parks it didnt matter 🙂
 
I've stayed in all the WDW resorts (minus Riviera) and love them all, value to deluxe, for different reasons. If you're having a jam packed holiday where you'll barely be in the room then does it REALLY matter where you sleep? We did club level at Animal Kingdom on my last trip though and it was fab - we were all ex-cast members and knew we would spend a reasonable amount of time in the resort so were willing to spend the money. We had breakfast in the lounge every day and went back to our rooms most afternoons for food/a nap/a swim so the money was totally worth it. But if I was there with family or friends who don't really go to Disney I would stay somewhere cheaper as we will probably be out a lot more and not fussed about resort amenities.
 
Its ok to like nice things and move up in the world but their attitude stinks. They aren’t humble or down to Earth in anyway. There are millionaire disney vloggers who are more down to Earth that these two combined. I do think his bubble has partly burst. His channel will still grow but he just isn’t likeable anymore

It's hte problem with being a narcissist. You get so wrapped up and involved in your own self importance, you don't care about the impact of what you are saying on others - you believe all anybody wants to do is hear your opinion - it will be interesting to see, over time, what impact it has on his channels. There will always be people who follow him, as narcissists always find a following, but he will lose genuine friendships, not that I think he has many anyway.
 
His book is written through his eyes and his eyes only. It doesn't cater for different perspectives or budgets although he says it does.

His book might aswell say 'unless you stay at the Grand Flo and fly premium you're gonna have a shit time'.

He doesn't go to Disney to enjoy it. He's going for a bragging right. Just like all of his snobby friends who rushed back soon as the boarders opened.

That book made us as a family who work really fucking hard to go to the all stars, feel like utter shit.

The new vlogs have just added to my loathing of him.

And yes I agree on everything you say. Adam can't hide his nasty judgemental sense of superiority and entitlement anymore

He lives in a Disney bubble and has no experience or info to share about anything but that. , I like to go to the parks but also Universal and Busch Gardens. There are a LOT of things to do and see in that area of Florida.

ETA: We stay in a villa in the Kissimmee area and hire a car, it makes it a very different holiday to just being cocooned in the Disney bubble
