Can’t believe there’s not a thread for this couple - the groomer and the groomed. Got together when he was 18 and she was in her early 40’s. Supposedly she was a friend of his family and knew him since he was 7, although I’ve not seen this verified anywhere. He’s now 32 and she’s 55 🤮 I think he’s 6 years older than her daughter from her previous marriage and he’s always acted like a dad to her!


Just disgusting really, anyone know any more about them?
 
I think he was actually under 18 when they got together initially.

Proper gives me the ick! I mean, he's a handsome guy, but I'm 5 years younger than his wife and I couldn't get involved with anyone in their early 30s...the thought of being with a teenager is just creepy. Age gap relationships where there's 10, 20 even 30 years between people can work really well but anything that starts when one of the couple is a teenager (and the other in their 30s or 40s) is just wrong.

I'm sure I read on the Celeb Gossip thread ages ago that he shags about. Don't know how true that is though - and tbh she might well be happy for him to do so/ turn a blind eye.

yeah I have no doubt it started before he was 18, that’s just the official story!

I heard he said in an interview that they’ve only ever spent 3 days apart and they were the worst of his life, which, regardless of their ages is just bloody weird. I really hope he is playing away tbh, I hate cheating but hope he’s able to experience being with someone a more ‘normal’ age to him, even if just for one night.

I used to be a huge fan of his and it was often talked about on the forums. Filming began in March 2009 so he would have been 18 at the time and turn 19 in June although it doesn't really matter, to be honest especially if she did know him from when he was a child. I remember stories leaking from the set that anytime they weren't filming, the pair of them went to each other's trailers to 'study the script' even though everyone knew what was going on and she was visibly annoyed when he did any type of love scene with Ophelia Lovibond. It was seemingly so bad that a lot of the stuff she should have been doing as the director was pawned off to others which pissed them off as she took full credit in interviews after.


There were stories that things started cooling off for them after the Nowhere Boy fuss died down as the publicity and attention he got was starting to make him realize he was a bit too young to be tied down but not long after she got pregnant so that was that. It's patently open he cheats and she looks the other way yet they still claim to be as in love as they always were although you could see when they did interviews for the film A Million Little Pieces where she directed him that they seemed to be trying a bit too much and it was obvious compared to interviews he does with others like Lizzy Olsen where the chemistry was so natural.

I remember coming across this article on a site a few months back where the writer basically says what most do...why was it treated like a huge love story and deemed sexist if anyone called her out yet if it was the opposite...a 42-year-old director pursuing his teenage star on set, he would be called everything under the sun.

I find it strange that he is supposedly in the new Sony Spider-Man universe (Venom, Morbius) film Kraven The Hunter that is due out this year and we've seen nothing about it.

The story is she doesn't want a divorce so she lets him play around as long as he is discreet. There was supposedly one that he got serious with but Sam found out and quickly nipped it in the bud. That is the reason why that even though they claim when one films, the other watches the kids, she gets to do what she wants and he only gets one movie a year and she is usually with or near him when filming.

What an utterly bizarre woman, her ex-husband is well shot!
 
Had heard the stories about these two but like other posters have said thought it was a case of a pretty boy actor shagging the director to get a role. Then I did some reading on them and oh my god 😳

Their 'love story' is about as much of a love story as Courtney Stodden's was. I do not get why people find it so hard to belive that women can be abusers also. It very much gets shot down with "well men have being doing the same for years so why shouldn't a woman" a two wrongs dont make a right 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't generally have an issue with age gap relationships if there isn't a huge, power imbalance but I genuinely feel in their relationship their is a massive power imbalance . I'm in my late 30s and couldn't even fathom being with an 18 year old now never mind in my 40s.
 
Tables will turn if he’s the new bond.. he’ll shoot up to her great heights and she may not like it. I definitely think there was grooming going on at the start but I very much doubt she is the only woman he’s been with since they met and got together. There’ll be an arrangement of some sort I reckon
