I’m sad for them losing a pet but she’s unhinged at the best of times and I get the impression pets are just more ‘belongings’ to her

She actually learnt nothing from the last house - she was hellbent in having a log burner there as well without checking the ‘chimney breast’ didn’t carry up into the upstairs and their were no stacks on the roof 🤣😂🤣😂
This time she’s gone one step further and booked it all in. Don’t you look at the roof when you are thinking of buying somewhere, ask why there is a fireplace in the bedroom but not the lounge?
I bet the previous owners left that fireplace in the bedroom for aesthetics purposes and this dimwit was trying to kill them all lighting a fire in it!!!!
does make me wonder if that had any links to the cat passing away?

secondly, in all fairness that’s in the company - did they not survey before agreeing the job!? Or at the very least look up at the roof before they started hacking away??

She was always going to book a cheap fitter. Or tell them no need to survey it - everything’s in place 🤣😂
 
Summary: whoever was stupid enough to complete a job for Abby has managed to find a chimney which was covered over on the roof, they’ve fitted the necessary bits. and the log burner is in, turns out she is in fact putting her telly above said log burner.
but it’s ok! She has an oak beam going above it.
the only thing oak about the beam, is the pattern of the poor quality laminate it’s covered in.
merry Christmas. Hope your fire alarms all have their batteries replaced Abby hun this is gonna be better than an episode of eastenders
 
It’ll be painted by Christmas Eve cos Abby just can’t wait.
Good to see the log burner has made her forget about her grief though. Onto the next!
