Someone on Reddit is saying that part of the scam is that the man's "mother" is actually his wife and his "brothers and sisters" are their children. Johan's "mother" did look young. It would be interesting to know because it might have been an unlawful marriage if he was already married at the time. Someone should look into that.

Going to look on reddit! His mum had him at 16 apparently.

Have to say I agree with this. The poverty some people endure in some of those countries is beyond sad & worrying. I wish they'd simply make good friends with the holidaymakers though, and tell them of their plight. Surely some of those friends might donate much-needed funds their way without all the romance scamming & inevitable heartbreak? No, as you say, it's not right - but I just wish the world wasn't so ill-divided. 😟
 
Just watched the Happily Ever After Tell All and Angela is such a bully. Normally you would feel sorry for someone if they have been scammed but the way she speaks to Michael, if it turns out he has been scamming her I wouldn’t feel bad for her at all!!
Liz’s new bf is creepy af, that smile and the both of them trying to prove to Ed that she’s happier is coming across as fake!!
Can’t wait for them to get to Sophie and Rob just to see how they come across but could really do without seeing Sophie’s friend Kay being a guest’

If he is scamming her I’d say he’s earn’t any benefits he’s got from it …. She’s an absolutely awful woman, VILE ..

He's come in all 'Let me present myself to you all, I'm the hero who's saved Liz, and look how great I am for doing that'. And yes, he & Liz are trying too hard. If he'd simply come in and been the strong, confident, supportive type while keeping his gob shut I'd have thought differently about him. As it is, imo, he's playing the 'Look how nice I am, look how horrible Ed is, bet y'all prefer meeeee over him'. Very childish I thought.

That doesn't mean Ed isn't still horrible btw. :LOL:

I had to chuckle at that …. I don’t blame them though she is the type who would assault someone and yes totally if that was a man he would have been kicked off by now, the producers are absolutely complicit in the way she behaves.

A dignified silence would have been SO much better.
I cringed when he tried to insult Ed by saying that he is a bigger man physically and mentally of something along those lines…I wasn’t impressed and Liz shouldn’t be either!!
 
I thought the UK tell all was so boring lol, I’m just used to all the drama. I prefer a comedian as a host though, Shaun Robinson does not add anything. Although somebody like Angela would not like somebody making jokes about her!

I think John was trying to make himself a 'personality' the way he said to Sprite, let me do this or something similar, like he wanted to be noticed. Stick to motorway cheffing I think!
