There’s a winner in a recent post. I really hope what I’ve been told and have read is wrong. It won’t be a jolly holiday if it’s true.
🤔
That could either mean a major impact on calendar sales, or having to listen to certain seasonal songs even more than normal.
Or, we are definitely not getting any more Xmas specials of a certain long-running sitcom?

Notable deaths on this day (Oct 9th) in history include:

1967 Che Guevara, revolutionary and beret wearer
1973 Sister Rosetta Tharpe, gospel and R&B singer, and a huge influence on Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry and Elvis The Pelvis
1974 Oskar Schindler, businessman and responsible for saving 1200 Jews during the Holocaust
1988 Felix Wankel, inventor with a funny name

2015 Gordon Honeycombe, presenter and broadcaster

I've a feeling Philip Schofield won't make it to the end of the year.
I wouldn’t be surprised but I don’t expect it. He doesn’t seem to think he’s done much wrong and seems hellbent on “setting the story straight”. If he weren’t around, who’d defend him or shit talk his enemies.
No, I think he’s as likely to try to launch his own production company making documentaries about bullying, homophobia, ageism etc, basically anything that gains sympathy for himself

Not going to lie Cry To Me is one of my all time favourite songs.

If Dick dies I will 100% go into mourning

Sorry about my quietness I had a family member in hospital earlier this week with a suspected stroke (thankfully it wasn’t) then my little one split his head open last night and had to have it fixed under general anaesthetic this morning😞

I saw 'Mary Poppins' trending when I glanced at Twitter earlier and was momentarily 😮. That was very inconsiderate of the Twitterers!
---
Nul points for Bobby Kennedy's widow Ethel. I thought she might've been someone's slightly obscure pick.

Might have been but for the fact I'd have assumed she died years ago.

The stories she must have been able to tell.
