• Did not work with the authors of Finding Freedom. Emails providing proof that she and Harry had briefed Jason Knauf, former communications secretary for the duo, Meghan claimed she "forgot" in court during their lawsuit against The Daily Mail.
• During the Oprah interview Harry stated that he "was cut off financially from his father" after the pair left being working royals and moving to North America. The annual report released by the then Prince of Wales shows that the duo did receive money from Prince Charles in the first quarter following "Megxit".
• During the Oprah interview, Meghan claimed they were secretly married by the Archbishop of Canterbury in the garden at Nottingham Cottage three days before the official wedding in May 2018. Their wedding certificate proved this was not true.
• During the Oprah interview, Meghan claimed the Royal Family refused Archie's birthright to be a prince after "concerns and conversations" about "how dark" his skin would be when he was born. The “George V Convention” as discussed by Meghan during said interview, takes the form of Letters Patent issued by the King in 1917. Letters Patent (where the plural is also the singular) is a legal document, effectively an open letter, that expresses the Royal Will. The key provision of the 1917 Letters Patent is as follows: “that the children of any Sovereign of these Realms and the children of the sons of any such Sovereign and the eldest living son of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales shall have and at all times hold and enjoy the style title or attribute of Royal Highness with their titular dignity of Prince or Princess prefixed to their respective Christian names or with their other titles of honour”. As Archie was a great-grandchild he was not eligible to be a Prince.
• Meghan claims she "never looked up my husband online" and "didn't do any research into the monarchy or as an American know much about it" and the only question she had when set up on a "blind date" with Harry was "Is he kind?". But according to the authors of Finding Freedom, Meghan looked up Harry via a thorough Google search for their first date, and in Revenge by Tom Bower former friend and business advisor Gina Nelthrope-Cowne "I've Googled Harry. I've gone deeply into his life." Her childhood best friend later transpired she read every book about Diana ever written, had visited Buckingham Palace, and had cried all the way through Diana’s funeral. Meghan also blogged about Prince William and Catherine's wedding on her website The Tig in 2011.
• Meghan dismissed her estranged half-sister Samantha Markle by saying she had not seen her for "at least 18, 19 years". But a photograph shows Meghan smiling and with her arm around Samantha at her graduation in 2008.
• "TV wasn't ever part of the plan." Meghan agreed when Harry said working with TV companies, such as streaming giant Netflix, was not part of the plan when they first planned a move to the US. It has since been revealed the couple started speaking to Quibi video streaming in early 2019. Revenge also states that deals were made with Oprah, Gayle King, and CBS had reached multiple deals with the duo.
• Meghan spoke at a university in South Africa where she told the students and staff in the audience that she used the work-study program to pay her way tuition at Northwestern University. Her father provided bank receipts showing that he paid.
• No help for her "mental health" while feeling suicidal during her Pregnancy. In the space of 5 minutes during the Oprah interview Harry both claimed that he didn't know where to go for help, that he was too ashamed to say anything to his family about it, and that HR denied them help. The royals have a well-documented history where members have had therapy. Diana had therapy throughout her marriage for eating disorders, suicidal thoughts, and depression. Charles had therapy and so did Princess Anne and Margaret, the queen’s sister. Before Harry met Meghan, he, Prince William, and Catherine formed Head's Together which focused on mental health with their foundation. Harry had previously spoken about receiving therapy at his brother's urging as an adult.
• Meghan claimed during the Oprah interview that she'd had her passport taken from her. However, she must have still had her passport to hand as the duo jetted off on 13 holidays together, including breaks in Ibiza, Nice, and Amsterdam, she had a "star-studded" baby shower in NYC while still living in London. The duo actually flew and lived in Canada before informing The Royal Family that they wanted to "step down as full-time working royals and do a "half in half out" model.
• In an interview with The Cut Meghan claimed at the 2019 London premiere of the live-action version of The Lion King. “I just had Archie. It was such a cruel chapter. I was scared to go out.” A cast member from South Africa pulled her aside. “He looked at me, and he’s just like light. He said, ‘I just need you to know: When you married into this family, we rejoiced in the streets the same we did when Mandela was freed from prison.’ ” However, Dr. John Kani, who voiced the mandrill shaman Rafiki in the Disney film, has now claimed that he was the only South African actor in the production and also said that he had never met the Duchess and did not attend the UK premiere. The Royal Shakespeare Company veteran insisted that Markle’s 2018 wedding to Prince Harry was “no big deal” in South Africa, stating: “I cannot even tell you now what month she married or what year”. While not a cast member, South African composer Lebohang Morake, best known as Lebo M., was at the London premiere — but also had no memory of anyone having such lofty praise during his brief chat with Markle and her husband, Prince Harry. “I don’t remember details of that conversation which was less than a minute, except the Royals were going to South Africa or Botswana,” he told The Telegraph.
• Meghan claimed the Mail on Sunday withheld a story on her father Thomas Markle setting up fake pap pics for a month. That the papers "withheld story on her dad to cause maximum harm". In fact, the newspaper was working on the story for several weeks and only chose to publish it 24 hours after securing final CCTV proof.
• During The Cut interview Meghan claimed that if Archie were in school in The U.K., she’d never be able to do school pickup and drop-off without it being a royal photo call with a press pen of 40 people snapping pictures. As Prince William, The Prince of Wales and Catherine, The Princess of Wales have done the school run since their children have started attending school and that has never happened.
• In The Cut interview when discussing going from having her own personal Instagram page to being under the preexisting social media account at Kensington Palace with Prince William and Catherine (at the time) The Duchess of Cambridge that she had no control over. “There’s literally a structure by which if you want to release photos of your child, as a member of the family, you first have to give them to the Royal Rota,” the U.K. media pool, she explains. Usually, the photos would be on media outlets before she could post them herself. That didn’t sit right with Meghan, given her strained relationship with the British tabloids (“Harry’s girl is [almost] straight outta Compton” is how the Daily Mail introduced her to the British public), and especially since she would soon have a child of her own to protect. “Why would I give the very people that are calling my children the N-word a photo of my child before I can share it with the people that love my child?” she asks, still ruffled." While there is no proof that this is untrue there are a couple of points that make it highly suspect. That is not typically a slur heard by professionals and members of the Royal Rota spent years if not decades in order to reach that rank and Meghan refused to name names of the reporters she accused. Considering she had Piers Morgan fired for saying he didn't believe her mental health claims during the Oprah interview, it's highly unlikely that if the slur was used she wouldn't have done the same to the reporter(s) who so did and rightly should have.
• Meghan claimed the press created news about Thomas to create drama. Thomas says he spoke to the press because Meghan cut him off first - just days before her wedding.
• Meghan said security was removed from her, Harry and Archie, despite fears for their safety. When they quit their royal duties, they lost their Internationally Protected Persons status and by no longer being working royals were not entitled to taxpayer-funded security.
• During the Oprah interview Meghan claimed that Archie being titled as a Prince only mattered because it would give him security. Neither Princess Beatrice nor Princess Eugenie receives taxpayer-funded security. In fact, most working royals do not receive it unless they are currently on the job or are located on the grounds of a royal residence like Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle. The Princess Royal and The Earl and Countess of Wessex only receive taxpayer-funded security when they are carrying out roles for the monarchy.
• Meghan said her press team did not defend her in the news. But journalists say many things were kept out of the newspaper when her press team said they were untrue. Courtier by Valentine Low show just have much her press team did to defend her and how much was kept hidden/buried by them. Especially Meghan and Harry's treatment of their staff.
• During the Oprah interview Meghan said she was banned from going to lunch with friends. In fact, newspapers turned down many paparazzi photos of Meghan out of the confines of the palace.
• Meghan claimed there was no training on how to be a royal - but like all members of the Royal Family, Meghan was sent on SAS training to deal with potential kidnapping. However, in Finding Freedom it was revealed she was also given informal training on royal life including exiting cars in a skirt and curtseying. This was after she stated that she "wanted to hit the ground running" and not waste any time in becoming a working royal after she and Harry wed during their engagement interview.
• Meghan described cozy 'tabloid holiday parties', which she claimed were held between royals and the press at the palace. Such parties don't exist.
• Harry and Meghan claimed the allegations of "conversations" and "concerns" about the color of Archie's skin by a royal family member when she was pregnant. Her story differs from Harry's. He says the conversation happened at the beginning of their relationship. Tom Bower's Revenge stated that Camilla, then The Duchess of Cornwall made a joke in the beginning of Harry and Meghan's relationship wondering if they were to have children what would the possibility be for a child to have a "ginger afro" to which at the time, Harry laughed.
• Meghan claims Kate made her cry at a bridesmaid fitting before her wedding. *The journalist behind the original story - which alleged that in fact, it was Meghan who made Catherine cry - sticks by her sources. In *Revenge it was revealed that Meghan bullied Cathrine's daughter Charolette during the children's dress fittings and that is what caused the tears.
• Meghan claimed in her podcast with Serena Williams that there while they were on tour in South Africa that the nursery had a fire in the "housing unit" and there were no smoke alarms where they were staying and that her and Harry had to keep doing part of the tour and weren't allowed to cancel it because of "optics". They stayed at The High Commissioners home which is definitely **not a "housing unit". There is no record of a fire when they were there. The only fire at that location was decades earlier. Because of that fire, the house had all the current technology regarding smoke alarms and other safety equipment. Recollections later came out that the brand new heater the couple brought with them, during the summer to South Africa did smoke some when turned on but Archie wasn't even in the room.

5) Haz presents as a great love story. We see it differently - a sick relationship playing out between a needy, immature and not very bright man, and a greedy opportunist who has the sincereity of a 3-dollar bill. A transactional arrangement.
6) Engagement interview an orchestrated reality show. BBC interviewer says they had control.
7) Claimed they couldn't tell their story. Denied by BBC.
8) Relationships with Chelsy and Cressida didn't work out because of press. Lady C said they just didn't want to marry Harry. Haz's volatility, paranoia, and mental issues were factors.
