Yellowjackets 🐝

Such a great programme, I'm getting LOST vibes which is my favourite series of all time, despite the weak ending. Who was the girl that ended up being eaten in Ep1?

Plus in Jackie’s diary (Shaughna reads it at Jackie’s parents house) there are references to films etc which came out after they were rescued. Could be a continuity error but I suspect not… 🕵🏼‍♀️
Ah, I'm a few episodes behind, so I didn't realise that (my fault). I'm really glad they've got a 2nd season but hopefully they won't drag it out too much.

We still don't know who ended up in the pit/being eaten. I think Jackie survives long enough to be rescued although it appears that something happens to her after they get home. I looks like Lottie but that could easily be a misdirect. Samantha Hanratty (the actor who plays younger Misty) has confirmed she was the only one of the main cast in that opening pit death/food ceremony scene. Every other character was an extra or stunt double. They really want to keep us guessing.

The writers have said we will get some answers in episode 10 which is nice but we definitely won't know everything and they're bound to end on a massive cliff hanger 😆.

I love this show, it's the best thing I've watched for ages. I love that it's not available to binge watch and they are releasing the episodes week by week. It's real 'appointment' television.

I think its a bit too obvious to be Jackie. Plus I've got a suspicion she might actually still be alive or at least survived the forrest to make it out

They've said they've planned for five seasons - so hopefully they know where they're going with this! I'm enjoying it a lot and hoping for some good twists and turns along the way!

Or been given up for adoption ?
Maybe. But they are in the wilderness for 19 months so it seems unlikely that the baby would survive for 9 or 10 months in such harsh conditions. That's before you take into account everyone is about to go batshit crazy, form warring clans and start eating people.

As long as they don't eat the baby 😦
