I'd love it if it was Maura, but she's probably too successful to bother now. Also I have no idea if she is single at the moment.
As far as we know, she's single.

I could potentially see her going back in for a couple days/a week, for a twist of some sort.... IF they got their chequebook out (little point in her doing Love Island again for free, as there are other dating shows that would pay her, which she has turned down before). I'd be surprised if she went back as a full-time contestant.

Still, Maura has been suspiciously quiet on instagram recently, even for her. She hasn't posted a pic/reel since Dec 31st...and I think the last time she posted a story was well over a week ago (although she has been commenting on/liking others posts).

Interestingly....Maura's agent, Talia, is currently in Cape Town, South Africa. She had been there with Karen Hauer (from Strictly, who is also her client) for a tv ad (so I didn't think much of it), but I noticed that while Karen has returned home, Talia is still there  ....of course she might just be overseeing the finishing touches to the ad. Could be pure coincidence.

Tbh I doubt she would do it because like you said she turned down other dating shows. She mentioned before how she wouldn’t do any more dating shows because she’s already done LI. Maura doesn’t post much on the main gram. Before new year reel- her last post was the 8th Dec.

I don’t see any past contestants coming back since the producers teased it would be newer twists. If any do come back then I’m guessing it will be the less successful ones

I think you'd be daft to not realize that certain people aren't given certain opportunities purely based on their skin color.

In S7, Kaz and Tyler were literally the only finalist in the shows history to not be called on stage and have their own segment. Instead, they wanted to call her as Toby's "ex".

The minute a POC does anything "wrong" their DMs are flooded with monkey emoji's.

After being on air for so long and having so many POC, Indiyah was literally the first black islander to land multiple huge deals.

So while you might feel like the the documentary was "too focused on their skin color", these islanders are the ones actually living the reality of having little opportunities given to them even if they've been on the show longer than their white counterparts.

Sure Ikenna was a bit deluded in his thinking considering he was one of the first people out, but it still doesn't take away from his and the other islanders experiences.
Oh I agree with you in most cases but the islanders in that TV documentary jumped straight to it being a race issue why they were not successful rather than they were just dull and forgettable that's what I didn't like .

The Collard twist - while initially brilliant - ended up being such an anticlimax with him just being treated as a normal contestant and then Collarding Paige as soon they left the villa. I don’t think that twist would work a second time.

I was definitely shook when he came back because it was the first time they done it. I agree and I didn’t like his "This is what lifes like after you get out is like” he put the Islanders heads in "what next" instead of being fully present.
