I think you'd be daft to not realize that certain people aren't given certain opportunities purely based on their skin color.

In S7, Kaz and Tyler were literally the only finalist in the shows history to not be called on stage and have their own segment. Instead, they wanted to call her as Toby's "ex".

The minute a POC does anything "wrong" their DMs are flooded with monkey emoji's.

After being on air for so long and having so many POC, Indiyah was literally the first black islander to land multiple huge deals.

So while you might feel like the the documentary was "too focused on their skin color", these islanders are the ones actually living the reality of having little opportunities given to them even if they've been on the show longer than their white counterparts.

Sure Ikenna was a bit deluded in his thinking considering he was one of the first people out, but it still doesn't take away from his and the other islanders experiences.

Huge mistake last year letting the public pick IMO, so much better when the islanders go by who they fancy than the public pairing them off like it’s Noah’s Ark.

Sounds like it'll go back to them picking thank god it'll never work but imagine the carnage if we got to pick the couples in the middle of the season 🤣

You need to present this idea to the producers ASAP! 🤣

I voted for Tom. I had to do a double take when I saw his photo - he is the spit of a colleague who left a few months back - who also happens to be called Tom! 😅
 
I’ve just watched Ron’s VT - I’ve fallen hook, line and sinker… once a sucker for an Essex boy, always a sucker for an Essex boy… 😩😩😩

He’s a very good looking lad, I’ve seen comments on the LI Facebook and Instagram that he is the ‘usual look’. But I totally disagree.

That's the one thing that annoys me about the show, there is never a balance in ages. Almost like it's deliberate.
Like last season when Ekin explicitly stated that she only wants to date guys her age but then the boys during Casa were all under 25

I quite like the idea of day one them coupling up as they used to, picking in a line up. Then once they’re all standing there, Maya to inform them that actually the public has already picked and they need to swap. It would add some awkwardness on day one of who actually likes who but whether they go along with what the public want 😂

Agreed. Megan was sooo stunning, and just oozed sex appeal (that made me cringe but I don’t know how else to word it 😂😂). India was the prettiest girl they’ve had imo. Was devastated when her and Ovie broke up - their babies would have been gorgeous
