What TV shows do you miss?

I really miss the little mini series of the late '90s to '10s ... here in NZ they were called "Sunday Theatre" and usually comprised two or three episodes that kept viewers on the edge of their seats. I know they still make mini-series, but nowhere near as good as what they were in those days.

I loved the comedy drama Andrew Lincoln did in the late nineties/ early 00s, This Life & Teachers are in my top ten.
I also like alot of the 1970s comedy gold like George & Mildred, Porridge that were aired before I existed or was a babe in arms.
Also old 1970s/1980s cop drama shows like Juliet Bravo, Shoestring,The Professionals things like that.

Brookside, Bad Girls and most definitely another vote for Dallas.

For those that want to know what was meant to happen if there was a Season 4 see below...

Spoiler: Dallas Season 4

Producer and Writer Cynthia Cidre confirmed that had Dallas returned for a 4th season Christopher would have been killed in the explosion and the season would have started six months later with flashbacks to show his funeral. Later in the season Priscilla Presley was set to return as Jenna Wade with her and Bobby's son Lucas. Elsewhere, John Ross was to meet his half sister - JR's secret daughter. There was also plans for Cliff Barnes to feature despite him being locked up in Mexico. Cidre had written two of the episodes and has suggested that she may publish them online at some point for those who wish to read them.

Hope that settles the cliffhanger for those who wished to know I just wish they had let them round off the show properly. I still hope that we might get a one-off episode at some point.
