I know what you mean. Although similar in genre and subject matter, it definitely wasn't in the same league as Bodyguard but if you suspend reality and don't care about not caring about the characters or their back stories, then it's an easy watch!

I quite enjoyed it for what it was but it could've been so much more.

Oh and for what it's worth, I found the last 2 eps better than the others.

Yes I stuck with Treason as it was a short series but it felt so badly written and structured, but the idea was great in theory and it could have been so much better. Yet another Netflix disappointment

Yes, even as a Deputy he was unconvincing. Ciaran Hinds in the top job however was an excellent choice.

I found the lead's wife's character really annoying and her acting wasn't great but her American friend was bloody awful. Loved Olga though.

just discovered that Laguna Beach is on netflix, I remember watching this when it was on MTV originally about a million years ago!
