Yes, that's right, the first series stars James Nesbitt as Tony Hughes and Tchéky Karyo as Julien Baptiste in both s1 and s2 but I've only recently found it on Netflix.

It's like Dark then Waiting for the next season, it was difficult to remember everything at first, as you see characters in different times and all

Gave up on peaky blinders after 3(I think?) episodes. On paper I really should have loved it but just couldn't. I suppose at least I got further this time
