Not gonna lie, as a pair of old farts, we could do with subtitles AND a translator in the really heavy bits, innit. 🤔😂 That aside, easy watching & we enjoyed it.

Is Supacell a bit like Misfits? In this house we love shows with superpowers (Misfits, Gen V, The Boys etc) so I'm tempted to give it a try. The IMDB rating is pretty average but a couple of you guys have enjoyed it so we'll probably give it a look.
 
Just finished A Good Girl's Guide To Murder.

It's silly in places and obviously not really intended for middle-aged women but after a slow start I quite enjoyed it! (I'd never heard of it or read the books though, so no preconceptions.)

It did seem a bit clunky/confused. Had the feel of a Bank Hol family special (like Worzel Gummidge, Famous Five etc) with a bit of token 'badness" shoehorned in but I guess that was the whole point of the story ie unlikely events happening to 'nice' wholesome kids in a rural idyll.

It didn't wow me but it was an easy watch. I love a whodunit and the setting was lovely (shot in the Somerset countryside, I believe.)
