I can’t remember if I watched all of this, but when I switched it on over on Netflix, it didn’t have subtitles which was annoying.

Just watched The Gentleman, episode 3 it’s supposed to be edgy and tongue in cheek, right? Finding it boring so far; does it get better?

If you're not enjoying it so far then it's probably not your cup of tea. I wouldn't describe it as edgy but I really enjoyed it and don't recall a slow start.

Derry Girls season 2, episode 3 - the one where they sneak off to the Take That concert in Belfast. And I’m blaming my pms for this, but I totally teared up this time when the dad sees them on tv at the end, and looks at Erin with so much love and happiness while she’s dancing away at the concert.

I’ve watched most of Guy Ritchie’s films and it feels formulaic of his other stuff; too try hard and forced. I’ll probably continue watching it as my partner wants to finish it but I think some of the scenes are a bit paint by numbers. I should have put the word edgy into quotation marks

I know what you mean and you're not wrong. It is quite clunky and formulaic. It feels unmistakably 'Ritchie' but is one of his better efforts, I'd say.

@Crumpet41 I know it's an old show but you've included a massive spoiler there! (Is there anyone left who hasn't yet seen GOT?!)

I didn't watch it much past the (admittedly much talked about!) Series 5 finale. I'd really enjoyed it up until that point but for some reason lost interest during S6 and gave up after investing all that time in the show. I doubt I'll ever go back to it though.
