Unless you were being very cryptic and discussing how Richard Kiel wouldn't attack in the slumber room. (Made myself feel well old with that one).

Then I am equally old

Hurray! No blank looks or furtive searches on Google. Incidentally, the shark in Jaws was called 'Bruce' by the cast and Richard was cast as the original 'Incredible Hulk' but wasn't considered muscular enough. I will now go and retrieve my coat x

Apparently, there is a scene in the Hulk movie/pilot really, where it is Richard Kiel and not Lou Ferrigno but I can't spot it. He also said those teeth hurt like hell and he could only have whatever prop it was, in his mouth for short periods.

Also, might be wrong, but when the cast were pulling the first 'Jaws' victim around in the opening scene, they pulled the rope (?) too hard so some of her screams were for real.

There has been an old wives tale for years that the actress broke her ribs during the take. It's not true. They just didn't tell her when they were going to pull on the rope, in order to get a genuine reaction!!

(Didn't know that stuff about Richard though, that's cool!)

Yeah I heard the one about the broken ribs, although I actually believed it! In the book it describes how she suddenly realises her foot has been bitten off. That's when she panics. Understandbly.

The Hulk was supposed to be red because of the radiation thing. So glad they changed that, as an angry giant with sunburn would have passed me completely by.

Red Hulk does exist as a separate character as well, so I wonder why they wanted to make (green) hulk red 🤔 TV producers!! Always have to meddle!!! Glad they kept him green as he was supposed to be!! Loved that show as a kid.

Oh really? I had no clue about that.

Yeah me too, I love the fact that you could watch it as a kid (like 'The A-Team' etc) and wouldn't be scared afterwards. The documentaries etc always show Bill Bixby as such a nice guy, and I didn't realise until I saw Wrestlemania 7 that Lou was deaf.

Yes, they made Bruce his middle name. Then, in every episode, his 'name' was any version of 'DB' such as David Brown, David Benson etc. Strange that 'Bruce' wasn't manly enough, considering in the show, he lost every fight in seconds before the Hulk came to the rescue.

He wasn't meant to be manly!! Just the traditional mild mannered reporter. Oh I loved that show.

Never a kick in the nuts was it? I was always fascinated by how he was always lying down when he 'changed.' Can't remember whether it is in New York or Vegas, but when Lou runs through the streets, you can see he is wearing green slippers!
