OK sorry, she's a fantasist who somehow wedged herself in to the Scottish public consciousness during the referendum. Previous to that she was mainly known for girls gone wild on reddit but then she repackaged herself as some sort of serious commentator and has been running with it ever since.

Whoa, what? She used to post nudes (presumably) on a porn subreddit and somehow turned that into Twitter fame? I genuinely thought she was just a not very well known hack 😳

There must be a LOT of backstory I’ve never heard, I only started noticing her on Twitter this year.

There's a bit more to it than that. She got involved with National Collective during her Muso/Arts Journo Vonny incarnation.
