Fell asleep halfway through last night's episode and can't even be bothered to attempt to watch again.

I’m starting to feel like it would have been better as a 2 hour show and done. I don’t really care enough about any of the characters at this point. I’ll keep watching to see who actually murdered the WWW, but if there’s another series I’ll give it a miss. Also slightly amused that young Morse of the dragon tattoo may well be a murderer whilst solving crimes on the other channel at the same time!

I think we are in the same skin. I fell asleep at 9:30, woke up to the last 5 mins. It was a bit yawny

I think it would make it easier to follow if they didn't keep interrupting the actual storyline with romantic flashbacks, which just hold up the action.

Is anyone else finding it hard to warm to or root for any of the characters? Even in the first ep of LOD I liked the main three whereas this I don't give a duck about any of them except the dead fella

I quite like the ginger police officer and her boss. But that’s about it

I know Suranne is a good actress and she doesn’t have much to smile about in this series but she just looks miserable. She has the same raised-eyebrows-scowly-face all the bloody time. Everything is so dark. The character I care most about is Silva’s cat

She does my head in running around the place like Lady Muck. If you moved the set to a hospital ward she’s the equivalent of the patient next to the one having a cardiac arrest demanding a pot of orange juice as the arrest bell is going. Read the room woman!

They should have sent her on to the sub. She's more sensible, calmer and knows how to obey orders. She's as good a detective as DI Silva and wouldn't run around, getting in the way and make hysterical accusations.

We were watching it too, my partners first comment about it was “the one on vigil is a mansion compared to that!”

And also the sleeping accommodation! Shared between guys and swapped every 6 hours!

He’s also the guy that came onto Vigil with DCI Silva I’ve thought he looks dodgy from the beginning
