Only thing is, did I miss the explanation of who the two women are and how they ate connected with the IT guy too?

I started watching it and really enjoyed it then I just lost the plot with it and realised I was looking at my phone instead. I don’t know who the women are either.

Yeah that I get, but who are? Where did they come from? How did they meet? What's the set up financially?

I agree I also got a little bored in the middle. But got into again in the later episodes
