lol, it was Anything Goes, which is currently playing in London to absolutely rave reviews ...

I suspect the shows pay (or come to some arrangement) to be featured on This Morning and other shows, that's why they are on. At the very least it fills some airtime for ITV that they'd otherwise have to come up with something else for, or pay someone else to appear in.

What was weird though was that Schofe and Squeak didn't talk to Sutton Foster (the blonde singer) or the dancers at all (unless I missed it), or say much about it, so I guess that bit was filmed yesterday or even weeks ago and just inserted in to today's show.

It would have been discussed last week when it was first announced. It was definitely discussed on GMB but I can’t remember if it was discussed on the Morning View that they usually do on This Morning.

The ruling was announced approx 10am on 1st Sept so that same morning or maybe 2nd Sept would have been the first opportunity to discuss it

There's something very smug about Matt Baker, I'm not keen on him. I'd welcome a younger man on the show, Roman Kemp has his feet under the table at ITV, so maybe he'd be good. I'd pair him with an older woman to make an interesting contrast, perhaps Sarah Greene, Janet Ellis or even Amanda Holden (I loved her on TM).

I think it would be interesting to give Alice Beer a trial as a main presenter. She seems relatable and likeable, even if a little snobby. She's also got a wealth of experience and is a professional. Could work, could not.

If Roman Kemp was chocolate he would eat himself. Saw the weekend programme he usually does with his dad but Martin was self isolating...I thought Roman was very show offy and full of himself, he is more suited to citv than a programme with serious content... Only my opinion of course, I think he is a pain in the @rse

I used to really fancy him, and love his personality (admittedly, it was after a dream I had lol), but I’ve now got major ick with him. He’s so embarrassing and immature

Maybe but I think also times have just changed and they're a bit more relaxed about it nowadays. Plus I'm pretty sure they have a guest like Miriam in the hopes she'll say something outrageous cos they know it's good for ratings .

Have the broadcasting rules been relaxed? They were also very lax when Harry Enfield was swearing on GMB the other day. They let him say shagging but not piss. I think it's a great shame when people can't articulate themselves without resorting to vulgar language.
 
Unpopular opinion but I quite like Josie. I think she has a good charisma and personality. I think she needs to improve her presenting skills and she would make a great presenter, perhaps if she did a media and journalism course and became properly qualified.

I have felt like this everytime I have seen that woman on this morning. You cannot deny how it looks when a young man from another country gets together with a much older lady from the uk. If you were this woman’s family you would be concerned what his intentions are and not once have they ever raised such concerns with her. Also they prompt her to say these outrageous things about her sex life and laugh along with her knowing that everybody at home is laughing at her. I think it’s disgraceful.
