I just have to put this here. It was mentioned in the last thread, not everyone can see stories since they block left right and centre. I don't want friends to miss out 😂😂 The overshare is just cringe.

Love the threat title! 👏🏻

Is Welshtits upset someone took his Strava crown and then went to look and posts the time saying it was on a bike… I mean who cares! Bet he was about to lace up his trainers and get it back before he had realised it was a bike that best him 🙈

I tried to find the segment on strava to look at the leader board. I imagine WR has gone and reported / flagged the activity so it gets removed and he regains his position. OR he has shared it hoping a minion will do it for him…

The Norwegian training thing is scary. One, because Brokentits broke himself trying to do it. Two, because if he believes in this philosophy, he’ll be prescribing it to his athletes and breaking them.

The thing he doesn’t seem to realise is that these guys have spent their entire lives running and training, and their bodieshave been conditioned for that kind of workload. Also, as middle distance runners, those guys aren’t running huge distances, so can see a double threshold day being the only workout day of the week.

That is what some of the commmenters are saying, along with the fact that the triathletes will be doing different disciplines.

He is not intelligent enough to realise you cannot just translate one style of training to a marathon style. He basically is trying to fit that style to what he did, to rationalise his behaviour and excuse away his injury.

The injury happened Matt because in summary you are a twat but in detail you overtrained, did a race you were not prepared for and you vastly underrecovered and under fuelled.

I imagine Matt is VERY aware he’s not got close to his first “season” as a proper runner. And is just trying to throw the kitchen sink at it now. I don’t think I followed him then but I imagine it was much more straightforward with hard sessions, lots of easy pace, rest, strength training and eaten enough food! You don’t need to keep upping the load forever!

Exactly, if Brokentits wants to run marathons he should train like a marathon runner, ie learn from his time in Kenya about the importance of rest, strength, yoga etc.

My favourite comment, wonder if he'll reply 🤔

Awkward Kelly showing in her new Kenya vlog all the other people on the Kenya experience managed to smash their recent races. Just more evidence that 2:30-3 hour marathoners and 5hr marathoners should NOT try to train in the same way! I.e. Tits' whole philosophy is as broken as he is, and Kenya broke Kelly.

Haha at him being called out by running trips for essentially taking a bit of their content and twisting it for his own point. What a twat.
Also yes to Kenya not being appropriate for everyone and it doesn’t have to be. It is an elite training camp for predominantly East African athletes. It doesn’t need to be inclusive and taking a bunch of middle class white people who are a bit crap just feels like it’s making talented black athletes a tourist attraction which is at best, fucking weird and worst, really quite racist

Kelly's recent training looks like she's struggling really bad. So much stop and start. Listen to your body and take a rest week Kel! Marathons aren't going anywhere but looks like your health is...
What was the point of the short run to the lake? Was she going to do a "session" and had to bail?
And the Toy Sort, sorry, I thought that was what their house usually looked like 🤣
