After watching Safe and The Stranger on Netflix and loving them both, I thought I'd watch one episode of The Woods last night as the man who writes them is so good.. wow! I ended up awake until 5am after watching the whole series, highly recommended.

Anyone else seen it?

I have a serious question
*SPOILER*

Why does David (Laura’s Dad) kill Arthur? What was his reason?
I thought this like 12 hours after watching the show I was like ... wait what??
Was it that he ruined David’s life with all the sueing etc and the whole time he was alive?

Very mixed about this show. I was expecting better tbh. The concept of the main storyline was good, but the added storylines such as his job, the embezzled money etc, dragged it out way too long and made no sense to put in. They could have made so much more about how he found kamila again. I got bored and new characters just kept appearing to me without any explanation. Why did Laura’s dad kill Arthur? Why was the counsellor so intrigued by them? What happened to the counsellor after that night? So many unanswered questions still for me!

It took me wayyyy too long to figure out who was who. Potentially it was easier to understand in the native language, but to me it was a very simple plot made complicated by loads of random filler

We finished watching this last night. I liked the idea of the storyline and thought parts of it were very intriguing. However I have a LOT of questions now that weren't answered.
Like others have mentioned, why did Dawid kill Artur? They briefly mentioned that Artur went to visit him in the care home but didn't go into it any further than that. So did Artur turn up to apologise and then Dawid followed him and killed him?
Where does Ming Li come into it? She was the woman who set up his sister in law into using the foundations funds, but why? Why would she do that? Also she was apparently sleeping with Artur?
Also the counsellor who was in prison was also visited by Artur and then said to Pawel that someone else was digging into his past, was that the journalist guy?
