Watched the paedophiles where Wilkes claimed to be the head of the sex crimes unit. It was nothing new. I guess she must be trying to hold on to her fame of summer of 2018. I understand she has issues with this but it comes off as misinformarion as there are dangers among the non-famous offenders which she needs to address. The blogs are getting to be so boring it is getting to be a chore to watch. Maybe Florida will bring some real content. I suppose even her strongest supporters moving on to interesting content.
 
I thought the paedophile vlog was awful. It wasn't informative imo. It was her on her soapbox and again making assumptions and having digs at her target from last summer. She made it sound like girls go willingly to these people and willingly have sex. She failed to take into account many young victims don't realise what the person is doing is wrong.

Yeah the bit about sleeping with someone was very victim blamey, telling girls to 'wise up' and try and run. Surely if she's worked with sex offenders, she would realise a lot of their victims seize up in that situation...which is why they are often not believed. It was like she was bringing the girl who slept with Chris into it without mentioning names (who was 19 or 20), but thats not paedophilia...wrong yes as he coerced/manipulated her but not paedophilia.

Also someone in her comments was defending MJ saying its the media trying to cover up for Weinstein...as if he hasn't already been exposed. :rolleyes:

Please tell me you’re joking and she didn’t tell girls to wise up and try to run?

Even if minors do go willingly and have sex willingly it’s illegal! It’s still statutory rape. Under 16’s are too young to consent

I wish I was! She mentions it when she talks about people wanting to sleep with celebrities. I feel like she was def trying to make a dig at Hayley.

That part made me think of the Alton Towers and the hotel victims of the alleged groomer Chris Ingham. For an ex professional investigating officer she sounded muddled and unprepared, her speech at the start about her being a DS in charge of teams was her attempt to make it clear she knows it all.
She criticised others for assumptions when looking at paedophiles but she was clearly making assumptions about CI.

Agreed, I don't get why she even thought that video was a good idea after the last one where she outright claimed Chris was a paedophile and was talking about child porn and stuff in the same video. I'm not surprised she got a legal letter.

Its also worrying that this is the kind of mentality she's raising Ellie with. She's been victim-blamey in a video before...basically criticising how girls dress sometimes and made it seem like thats a factor in being raped or abused. I dread to think if Ellie is ever in that situation (with someone 'famous' or not) - I definitely wouldn't want to open up to Wilkes about something like that if she was going to turn around and say 'wise up'.

Yeah I get that impression too. She loves when she becomes 'controversial' and gets views from it. I mean she basically gloated and joked about the France situation all 'my advice would be do something controversial and get backlash and followers that way'. Same with when she said the s word. People are getting bored of her videos too - someone even commented the other day all oh god not yet another hill walk.

My husband keeps asking me if I am sure that she was a cop. He added that the Dorset Police must be very poorly run to have her in charge of anything.

I remember her mentioning her PTS because of a senior officer sexually assaulting her. If there was any truth to that, who knows? She must have made some enemies on her road top the lump sum.

I cringe when her new video notification pops up. I watch because past behaviour are evident she is a groomer taking advantage of people financially. I experienced my brain-injured brother being taken advantage of by a scheming woman when he couldn't defend himself.

One day she will slip up and find herself in the same position as people she names and shames. I want to see that moment. These daily grind videos though! I don't know how her followers can keep on praising them. I find myself fast forwarding through most of it, enough wind and birds already!

How anyone even thinks about treating someone so vunerable in such a vile manner is beyond me.

Last video was half filled with baby bear trying to get her phone out from under the bed. Captivating viewing

The other half saw some beautiful memorial benches but if you do watch I suggest you play a game and count how many times she mentioned the possibility of them being defaced. It's an annoying amount
 
Sounds thrilling, I shan't waste my time on it. As for her opinions on paedophiles, she thinks she is an expert, but the way she talks and films her own daughter make me shake my head.
