Agree with lots of comments here that Amanda has likely shot herself in the foot by voting for Theo as her 100% one day and then voting him out the next. I thought she’d been playing a good game up until that episode, and then she was too chatty in the discussions after the round table, I felt like she was giving herself away.

I think I’m in the minority but I don’t mind Will/Wilf/Wilfred 😬 sometimes I think he’s playing a better (at least tactically) game than Amanda, but he always looks SO GUILTY, I don’t know how he hasn’t been found out from that alone.

Poor Aaron. Poor Theo.

I looked up who won some of the other versions of the show - spoilered in case you intend to watch it - it was one of the traitors in Australia, which I thought was interesting. Denmark was a faithful and a traitor (formerly faithful) in season 1, and three faithfuls in season 2. That was all I managed to easily find.

One thing I did notice is a lot of the participants in other countries have been actual Olympic athletes, politicians, tv hosts, singers etc. But they’ve got nothing on our Maddie and her homeless Eastenders stint…

If this makes it to thread #2 the title definitely has to be “I’m 100% faithful”😭
 
New here but, I'm obsessed with this.

I 100% would've recruited Meryl as a traitor. They're so desperate to catch a traitor, I would've used her as bait to catch to deflect from the originals traitors. Because she got the shield no one besides Theo and Wilfred would've known that therefore, the traitors could've got away with the other's thinking no one left because a shield holder was murdered.

As soon as they throw Meryl under the bus and let them have a traitor they will, take all accusations off them and only be looking for one traitor. Shady but, I would 100% be using recruits to bait off the scent. 😂

I think they were worried about recruiting Meryl as she is such a blabber mouth. She could easily have given away the identity of the other traitors in casual conversation. Her openness is endearing, just not a good thing for a traitor 😂

Yes, when she got the shield, she told Wilf almost immediately. I imagine if she was recruited as a traitor, she would give them all away at the breakfast table within 5 minutes

I am a bit worried about how they're going to cope when it gets down to just a few of them as it seems to be really messing with their heads. It must be difficult being so closed off and a tight knit group, but they're putting far too much on emotional connections - like when Theo was at the round table saying Aaron was the traitor because he wasn't as close to Amos. Why would that make a difference when you're down to 10 people? Start thinking logically!

Or rather, don't. Because I don't want Amanda banished 😆

Aaron saying he wants to be banished purely to prove Maddy wrong ❤️. We are all Aaron by this point

Mid-late May this year. I only know this because I'm signed up to an extras agency and I received several availability check emails earlier this year for a 'Game Show Tester' at Adross Castle in Alness. I couldn't do it but remember at the time wondering what the hell kind of game show would be filming in Alness and require people who were not afraid of 'heights, fire, water, bats, enclosed spaces and creepy crawlies'. The filming dates were for mid to late May. It could be that the actual show was filmed a bit later though.
I'd forgotten all about it until something rang a bell and I checked back my emails!
ETA: actually, checking again, the dates range from early April to end of May. I guess there would've been a period of testing the games before the actual real filming began.

I don't want Aaron to go, I love him.

But if he is going to not win, I want him to be banished just so he can have a smug grin on his face, look Maddy in the eyes and tell her he is a faithful and piss on her bonfire.

(Wilf should be trying to get Aaron banished/murdered for this reason, Maddy says they are both traitors, if Wilf proves Aaron isn't one, through banish/murder, it breaks her theory of them both being traitors. Even though Wilf is one. It's shuts her theory down.)

There are no extras in the show so they are all actors rather than genuine members of the public?

I took @mickeycat's post to mean they wanted extras to test all the games and challenges before they started filming with the actual contestants, I think? We haven't had anything to do with 'fire' yet have we?
Just remembered there were extras in the church scene with the masks too.

Yes, they wanted people to test the games and to drive the Landrovers etc. There were about 11 different emails, some of the games only make sense now I've seen them. The one which mentions rowing, in the title of the email, is called 'WB Game Tester', for example.

Grrrrr my bloody husband called and said he couldn’t get a taxi last night so I ended up having to pick him up instead of watching on real time- I could barely sleep last night 😂 think I might banish him!!

so….

1- they were given the biggest bloody clue to date last night and there was only faye that picked up on it and she did NOTHING with it. They were told that happened at the party. Why did no one question if anyone was missing for a prolonged period of time.

2- they’re all so blindsided by Amanda to realise that she’s also giving them a big clue by saying it was someone in their group and that some people have gone unquestioned

3- Fayes onto Amanda you can tell from some of her expressions- she’s a gonna

4- Amanda’s totally shot herself in the foot in one episode but only Wilf and Faye can see it because she’s so under the radar. He’s definitely going to do her dirty.

5- Maddy and Aaron have clashed so much now it’s only a saved by the bell scenario that’s going to get them to the final. If they had anymore time they’d both get banished because when they find out ones a faithful the rest will automatically think it’s the other one that’s a traitor.

The first task had fire when they set the sculpture things alight.
I think it would have been quite cool to go and test the games out(maybe not the wheel or being buried alive)

Yeah, I wish I'd been able to go. Would've been fun (apart from the buried alive one)
I joined this agency ages ago when a big drama series was being filmed locally and they advertised for extras. I put in for it it just to have a go but then Covid happened and I couldn't do it.

There's another one which mentions a maze and this one, "CF Game Tester", about bats and spiders. Unless that was the buried alive one? I don't recall rats, bats and spiders in that though, just enclosed spaces.

She winds me up too. I think it’s because she acts all sweet and a bit daft but then is quite happy to tell people to their face that she thinks they’re a traitor with absolutely no evidence.
