Yes I guess the embarrassment isn't so much the final as the comments from Harry throughout - 'Mollie trusts me 100%. I know she'll always back me up'.
And I genuinely think people are judging her harshly for that final. She never thought Jaz was a traitor, or why would she put in the green smoke. She had to pick someone and she picked him as she thought he'd got it wrong about Harry.
 
I agree Harry deserved to win, in that he put in a lot of effort and played the game well/tactically.

But I'd be lying if I said I was glad he won, because it felt a bit like the 'baddy' winning at the end of a long movie - especially when it's more accurate to say Mollie lost the game rather than Harry won it. :) Plus the ending was so flat with just him at the end awkwardly with Claudia, compared to the last series when three of them had a little celebration.

That said, a traitor has to win sometimes otherwise it would be a pointless programme. Really hoping the faithful are better in the next one, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. 😂

It's easy for us to say it's just a game as viewers, but when you live and breathe it as a contestant it probably feels a bit more than that. Arguably it's not Harry's fault. Maybe Mollie wasn't really suitable for the game and that should have been highlighted by the producers in the many pre interviews they do with potential contestants.

Yeah I think the things Harry said about her are likely the reason they aren't speaking now, rather than him being a traitor. I think using her crush to his advantage was a good move but the way he spoke about her at times was just cruel.

I had been thinking too that she really wasn't right for the show, the casting team messed up there.
 
The ending was a bit weird and awkward.

I do hope Mollie is holding up ok. It must just be mortifying. I felt sorry for her having to go on the after show too, because I think she really did take it personally. Like others have said it’s not even the ending that is the most embarrassing part; it’s all the things Harry said behind the scenes which was unnecessary and cruel of him. He might be thinking it, but was there really any need to say it on camera, knowing she would see it one day? I think that was for the benefit of his girlfriend when she watched the show, because he knew he would be seen flirting with Mollie.

He played a great game, and it IS a game… but something about the Harry win doesn’t sit well with me. I think the producers need to be more careful with casting in future because it has left Mollie really quite vulnerable and I do worry about her.

Harry could of gone in so hard at the fire pit with pressure tactics or begging her or something else nasty to force her hand .

Harry and Jaz in my opinion were very respectful of Mollie they both stood there quietly neither said or did anything disrespectful at the fire pit while she changed the name three times, I think that says a lot about both of them .

Much better than the snivelling Wilf last year telling Hannah he’d never talk to her again if she banished him. Then once banished said he was so happy they won! 😆 Sure Jan!

I suppose it’s difficult because the show is edited in retrospect knowing the outcome, so the clips they show are steered in that direction. Somewhere on the cutting room floor Mollie is probably talking about having Harry in her pocket but that doesn’t fit the actual narrative … or maybe not.

I guess they don’t know until the game gets going how they will react. Ash actively wanted to be a traitor and thought she would be a good one … and we all saw how that panned out.
 
Epic final! Some of the best tv I’ve seen in years. Harry got a bit arrogant but tbh deserved every penny of the prize. He was so entertaining. An accidental or deliberate mastermind im still not sure 😆 I always wondered why he didn’t have Mollie murdered to take suspicion from him but I see now that playing the long game with her was worth so much more. Amazingly well played

What's lovely is that Harry, Mollie and Jaz are doing so well and great friends now, same with Andrew he's all good

I'm currently listening to them all on Claudia's radio programme and everyone's just buzzing for each other .

People like this shouldn’t be allowed out on their own without supervision.
I wasn’t a big Paul fan (although he really did add to the enjoyment of this series) but I don’t feel compelled to let him know personally that he’s a bit of a waserk.

Poor Molly. If you can’t be naive at 21, when can you be?!

Couldn't agree more Panda .

Theres so much shit being thrown at Harry and Mollie and for what ?
Theyre both young people starting out in life it's no one's buisness how someone spends their money or how someone feels in the heat of the moment.

If they can laugh about it with each other and stay friends, I don't know why internet trolls are firing off in comments . Strange.
