No I agree it COULD be life changing if you’re careful but it’s also easily fritted away if you’re not careful. When we were deciding what to do with our car we looked at an Audi A5 and it was £36k. For me owning an Audi isn’t life changing it’s just very nice. However £30k down on a deposit for a house is totally life changing.
 
I just loved that! I want to go on the next series but I’m scared I’d never be able to come back on here and see everyone slagging me off or laughing if I got voted off first 😭😂

Is anyone going to watch the American version? I’ve got a feeling it will be loud and flashy and OTT and fake but Alan Cumming is hosting it and I want to see how he does compared to Claud. MightWatch the first episode.

Has anyone seen the Australian version? Is it worth checking out?

Should give the money to striking nurses and other frontline workers. In fact, fk off the wanbabes, and schlebs and let genuine frontline workers have a go.
And the glaring flaw in all this- nothing preventing a group of them sharing the winnings after even if voted out etc so fixing the game ahead. Pony.

I never understand people watching programmes they hate. Turn it off. Nobody is forcing you to watch it Then not only do you watch it you find this thread and post four paragraphs about it. Why? What a waste of time for something you hate

Read a book instead
 
Judi Love on Loose Women the other day day said if they make a celeb version she wants to do it. She’s on everything else, so she probably would be. I hope they hold off of a celeb version for a few years.

I won’t be watching the US or Oz versions. I have a soft spot for Alan Cummings. Didn’t know he was hosting the US one.

I don't think a celeb version would work as well. The prize money would go to charity so it would be purely a game. The civilian version had people desparate for the money (no judgement at all) which lent it far more of an edge.
Plus I've a horrible feeling it would be the usual bloody faces we always see on these things.

Personally I watched the finale on iplayer myself. I don’t think the random scheduling helped and like an earlier poster said, I think BBC would have been better off putting this on in January and advertising it throughout December
