Ok. Going back to the Gold Tea Afternoon. $65 for a kid!? The kids menu is pb&j, ham&gruyere or turkey&cheddar finger sandwiches. Who in their right mind would pay that much for those types of things things…aside from the Bojos?? I have a very picky kid (working on it), and I don’t know that he even eats $65 worth of food in 3 days for all 3 meals unless we go out to eat. And that includes buying stuff that I just want him to try. Doesn’t look like there will be characters either if we want to compare that price range to the Disney character meals. For example, Cindy’s Royal Table is $45 per kid.

I don't remember her ever cooking unless it is out of one of those delivery service meal kits. So can she really cook?

Heck she never checks to see if she has the item if the meal kit does not send it (meaning if the kit expects fried rice and sends the rice and assumes you have oil for frying and an egg at home) before starting to prep and cook.
Even before the Sanford house she cooked...she would prep chicken breasts in marinades and freeze them for dinners, she mixed up his waffle batter for Dim's breakfasts, pack his lunches. They had a bread machine and would bake bread regularly, they made some attempt at eating healthier - dinners were black beans and rice, chicken, veg...and Dim was actually a vegetarian before they started YouTube.

Just throwing this out there.

That's insane if it's offering that little, but then it's Disney an they know people will pay for it, IMO I feel like afternoon teas are more a adult thing, I've never really known any to be "kid friendly" like sure they are offering sandwiches but is that really worth it? Afternoon teas at least the ones I know of offer quite a range of things an the types of things they offer I've always thought wouldn't really suit any child even if they weren't fussy eaters

We done the afternoon tea at the HP studios, absolutely lovely an it was a nice experience for us while we were there (an we needed to eat as well) it was £65 which was a bit pricey but you were paying for the whole experience, it did offer unlimited drinks/tea though, but with what they offered even my niece who eats quite well I'd say she would have struggled to have liked anything on it including the cakes

And they used to get a ton of food from their fans in the UK, and they/she would cook that up. Like different stew packages, and those pop over things, puddings and scones and what not.
I know at one point they were dieting (more so Tim) but he did give up red meat for a while, and I think he was only eating chicken. They were a functioning young married couple. As they got older and richer, their progression came to a full stop, and they just regressed like crazy.

The menu is larger than that, but those were the 3 things specifically labeled for kids. Then it jumped right to dessert. Hopefully more comes with it.

Should have worded it better, I'd imagine the adults is quite large but if it's (so far) only labelled 3 things specifically for kids then it's quite poor especially for charging what they are for kids, but I guess they will be expecting kids to eat mostly what the adults are getting but usually it's strange things, even when we got ours the salmon was served on a beetroot wafer with a cream cheese on top, one of the sandwiches as well was like prawns an cucumber on a cocoa bread, I'd be surprised if such young kids would eat things like that especially Js age, cause we all know they will probably need to do a "family vlog" on it

You guys talking about Disney Vlogger’s numbers going down. I think there are just way too many vloggers. There are people that like Disney & move there thinking they can “make it big”. (PMM) Then there are cast members quitting to also make videos. Adding the “behind the scenes“ perspective. (Mammoth Club) My wife is going to WDW for the Christmas party & Jollywood nights this year. She does her homework to make the most out of her trip. After the first night of each event, she was looking for videos to get opinions. It was surprising that videos were not posted until after 9 or 10 in the morning the next day. I would think people would be running home after the event & have it ready to go ASAP. The first few videos were all from Vloggers she had never heard of. That barely had 5K to 10K subscribers. We thought the Tracker’s wouldn’t post anything until later in the month. Since all their fans comment on how they don’t care if they are the first to post. But since they had a sponsor, it was up in 24 hours.

With Disney, I've wondered if Disney has some rules about cast members being a Vlogger. In one of the videos, the woman must have worked for Disney as a performer in the parades. She knew everyone in the parade because multiple people were coming up & saying her name. She was really excited about it & talked a lot about what goes into the parades. After seeing the Tracker’s video, she was on the same side of the street as them, just on the corner of the round-a-bout. I didn’t go back to rewatch but I’m sure you could see them in her video.

With other parks, like Universal. I know YouTuber’s like World of Micah works for Universal but doesn’t film there. He is one of the Blues Brother’s impersonators you can meet. But he isn’t pulling in anything big with his channel.

We will have to keep an eye out on the numbers. I do think things will go crazy when Epic Universe opens. We will see how the Tracker’s do. I kind of hope they are not allowed to do much since they did get the “welcome“ package from Universal. They will complain but just go back to Disney.

I'm putting together a bingo card game for us to play for whenever the NYC video emerges - post your predictions for dumb J10D tit she'll pull and I'll add them to the card 👀

So far I've got:
-Makes the line at Crumbl but bails
-AnXiEtY
-Can't figure out public transportation
-amazed at how many people are in the city
-"surprised" that there is a welcome bottle of booze in her hotel room
- "They must have upgraded my room"

So far I've got:
-Makes the line at Crumbl but bails
-AnXiEtY
-Can't figure out public transportation
- Orders room service daily

- Daily dines at QS places like Taco Bell, McDonald’s, Burger King (shorten to TB,McD,BK)
Nothing wrong with this, but doesn’t NYC have fantastic delis and ethnic food carts?

- Clothing wise, sticks out like a sore thumb

- Doesn’t show her “bestie” on camera

-Makes an excuse why bestie couldn’t come to NYC

- says “Buddy would have loved it/this!”

- brings home a food item that Budley, not Oliver, can have a BITE of.

So on the podcast Tim said he should be ok with Jen away? Why the heck wouldn’t he be? She doesn’t do tit. Now if the nanny were away for a few days then that’s another story.

I am surprised she hasn’t posted anything to IG about her antics on the big city so far. Maybe she hasn’t left the hotel room yet?

-Dressed like she’s going to the arctic for November in NY (50s)
-Late and running (and huffing and puffing, naturally) bc she’s late for the show, a reservation, something.
-Walking the wrong direction for 5-10 minutes before realizing the street numbers are going the wrong way.
-Frazzled by the crowds, mainly bc she’s lollygaggjng and getting in people’s way.

You are being very generous but I know the point you are making.
From the get go though she wasn't much of a cook. Nor did they know much about nutrition ever.
Yes definitely huge difference today then how they used to eat but pizza eggs still not cutting it.

I also picture these nyc vlogs in the style of Blair Witch Project.
