In the podcast, Dick tries to get Tim to participate in the conversation. He's very checked out through the whole thing, more than usual because they are on Zoom, not in person. Dick brings up the Olympics. Tim hasn't watched any of it (if this was filmed on Saturday, the opening ceremonies were the day before so there wasn't a lot to watch). Dick, desperate for engagement from Tim brings up swimming. Tim, not at all interested replies: Who's winning? What? That's not even an appropriate swimming related question. It's not like baseball or football. Who won, maybe? How are the US swimmers doing? J$ would love the Olympics, Tim. And you have Peacock so he could choose to watch anything and everything.

Every time Dick brings up "his work" or "his job", Tim gets even more removed. At one point, Dick starts telling a story about an event the company had where they got to try food and Tim just about gets out of his chair completely and is screwing around with something off camera. Tell me you're a jealous hater without telling me you're a jealous hater, Tim.

You’d think Dimmy would at least be into swimming (or diving), there’s no shortage of booty butts though they’re not furry enough, or at all. Plus he was such a good lifeguard 🥴🫠 This guy seriously has no interests outside of furry booty butts and cookies and Disney-adjacent things at this point. It’s reallllly weird. Like I get not being into sports though I feel like the Olympics are different, but it’s not even like he’s got other hobbies, like reading or horticulture or volunteering or actual travel. What a sad life.

Dim would seriously suck so much at a real world job. He can’t discipline himself to at least pretend to pay attention when the conversation isn’t about him and he views his “coworker” as competition.

Thank you❣ My son is sooo much better. And I’m getting there. Just exhausted bc I haven’t eaten since Saturday. Reading here was the only thing I was able to tolerate yesterday. My husband is totally fine, got up and went for a 7 mile run this morning and walked a mile back. 🫠

I debated pulling out my camera and recording my son and myself when we were sick and then posting about our bodily functions on the internet for all to hear, but decided against it. Bc who does that?! 😏

Glad you're feeling better, but I'm joining you in the sick bay today! Covid got me, so I'm bed rotting. Thinking I might follow suit with your video your families illness and start making YouTube Shorts from my bed while I sweat profusely and lay here in delirium! Would make for more interesting content than the Trackers eating yet more eggs Benedict.
 
A quick observation. Dim isn’t texting her or calling her because he doesn’t want to bother her. But I remember a video years ago pre-preggo where he stated that when he’s out filming she would text him constantly. I don’t remember if this was a Q&A or just a random thing answering all the people that felt bad she couldn’t be at the parks too. But around that same time she miss homemaker cooking and cleaning.
I don’t believe his reason. Based on Xmas’s observation’s, I’d call it more of a trial separation, even if only for a couple days.

Dick 🍌 asks Dim if he talks too much and annoys him, like Deadpool does to Wolverine. Dim says no (not in a very convincing way), but then they go on to talk about how Dim doesn’t really talk a lot. Dim says viewers think he’s chatty because they edit the video to show when he’s talking. Soooo…..why did Dim think doing a podcast was a great idea??

Dim says they are all caught up on videos. He said when they got back from the fort, it was “all hands on deck” to get them caught up. This explains why they were posting videos so quickly, sometimes a couple in one day. So “caught up” means turning around and multiple days of not posting again. Got it.

I’ll be interested to see if Mike’s posting of shorts and IG reels continues once J5D is back….or was this something they had him do to keep the algorithms happy while she was gone and Dim had to parent both kids alone. 🤔

Nick mentioned he is working one of the days he is in California for Undercover Tourist and not to be outdone, Tim interrupts him to say that he was invited by Disney Consumer Parks for a breakfast and meet and greet with Tiana. Nick was not invited to this but he said someone he knows is going.

I googled this and got nothing.
Does this department even exist?
Or is Tim pulling his usual BS to act relevant?
 
So poor Tim had to get both kids up and out of the house at 7:30ish this morning to go pick up Jenn at the port....because we all know she didn't drive herself there.

I think this solo cruise was 100% Tim saying you're going to have to watch both kids while I'm in California for D23, so I'll give you your reward in advance. No children. No responsibilities. It makes no sense to me that when the friend bailed, if she didn't have another friend/family member, they didn't turn this into their 9 millionth family vacation.

I like the theory of the "friend" being Rosie.

I believe it is Disney Consumer PRODUCTS, they are hosting a breakfast. He mentioned "the girl that played Tiana" would be there because of course he doesn't know Anika Noni Rose. :rolleyes:

Dick mentioned that folks from whatever the place he works at were also going to it. I suspect this is something you get invited to if you are on such and such list. I don't think this is anything super special.

Apologies, it was actually Disney Consumer Products.

I wasn’t paying full attention the first time and just went back to the podcast to confirm and Tim did indeed say Disney Consumer Products.
