The sister ITV

Just finished watching the final episode- awful series. Terrible acting, no chemistry between any of the charachters. It was all a bit weird. The last 10 minutes were the best in each episode, could’ve been cut to half and the story told in 2 episodes. I think I know what happened but I’m not entirely sure as it was all a bit arse?

I wasn't a fan either. Was it just me or did Nathan come across as a total creep from start to finish? I get that she was grieving but I would have been totally unnerved in the flashback where she was showing him around the house.

The only thing I hadn't predicted coming was the ending. Did feel like a waste of time watching it over four nights.

I couldn't quite understand how they even got married? I would have thought after the first phone call and meeting when he took forever to complete a sentence she would have ran a mile! So disappointing

I watched the first episode and it was slooooow. Forgot about the second and probably won't bother watching any further. Shame, it sounded like it could be good.

Exactly. The family seemed to take to him as well which I couldn't understand, he just seemed too off, also what were his true intentions for pursuing the wife in the first place? He was almost staking her at the start.

I think a better conclusion would have been the wife and her family finding out about his involvement.

Can anyone summarise what the show was about and how it ended? Thought the first episode was dull but decided to give the second a go, but got bored half way through and switched off. It’s not something I would normally watch (didn’t see any adverts for it either) but it was starting and it said it was a drama over four nights so thought it could be something I could watch for the majority of the week. I didn’t.

A girl goes missing at a party and is accidentally killed taking drugs with someone she meets at the party, Nathan and his friend Bob. They bury her in some woods. A few years later Nathan tracks down her sister Holly and they begin dating and marry, unbeknownst to her that he has this secret. Bob (a paranormal expert) shows up and says they must move the body as the area is being redeveloped, unearthing terrible memories for Nathan. They exhume the body and then after a lot of faffing, it turns out Bob had spiked the drugs as an experiment as he wanted them both to die and become ghosts. Are you still following 🤪?? Anyway, Nathan then drugs Bob and tells the police and gets away with it, wasn’t really his fault anyway. His wife has a baby after some time trying and Bob is in a permanent coma following the drugging. The last scene shows Nathan driving down a country lane, and the ghost of Elise (The Sister) is in the back of his car.....
So it seems Bob got his wish!
still shite though 😂

Dear Lord 😂😂😂
I’m glad I decided to skip it!

Glad I'm not the only one to think that. It just didn't make any sense, the constant pausing halfway through a sentence really got me. Love a good drama but unfortunately this wasn't.

I didn't read the reviews on here. I didn't want any spoilers. Just watched it all. I found the sound quality was really bad. I had to turn the tv up when Nathan spoke. Not sure if it was just me? He sounded really muffled. If I was an estate agent I would've had alarm bells ringing over Nathan. Bob's voice was doing my head in:ROFLMAO: He was like the child catcher:eek:
