Candiace used to annoy the heck out of me but her support of Ashley when Nicky Minaj tried to mum shame her made me realise she’s a real one.

I rarely get genuinely passionate about any real housewives stuff so please excuse my likely incoherent rant lol

Completely agree about Ashley - although I don’t think he meant it like that I think there was more substance to the claim than Giselle! I also like Giselle but she can be a big pot stirrer!

Just felt like she was trying to make herself relevant. I like Gizelle but she hasn't had much of a storyline of late. The getting back with Jamal reeked of desperation to stay relevant on the show

I agree. She did it with the Mia situation too. We all love Gizelle, she has more than earned her place on the show so I don’t get why she’s manufacturing drama.

I also love Gizelle and she is almost always out of order! Candace did handle the the situation like a lady.

I'm on the fence about Chris though... if the ladies were like "sisters" to him, why don't they know where he works?? If he wanted them to come to his bar/restaurant, why didn't he or Candace say that to the ladies? I don't think the issue is Ashley not knowing how promoting works, I think it was that she had no idea he worked there. If I didn't know my friends husband worked someone and I got that DM, I would have thought it was weird. But she went to Candace and cleared it up and that was the right way to deal with it. Gizelle is just trying to have a storyline. The only thing that made sense there was maybe letting Candance know they talked in her dressing room just in case someone saw them and gossiped. She was EXTREMELY friendly and chatty with Chris at Karens event. I've always found something off about Chris, that's part of the reason I'm on the fence here. I feel like he could do something behind Canadace's back

Our Candy girl seems to be growing up! I also liked how she defended Ashley at that reunion and how she handled Gizelle and everything she said to the producer lol
 
Gizelle is a massive tit disturber. Usually, we all let it slide because it’s cute shade and moves the storylines along, but the way she came at Mia out of the gate was tacky (Karen voice: you tacky as hell, Gizelle) and claiming to feel uncomfortable in a room with Chris felt very fake. Chris probably thinks he’s just like Juan, and nobody would care about being with Juan right?

Very excited about UGT3. Hate Leah and glad she’ll be up against some proper personalities. Also love Alexia - can take or leave Marysol after the last season of Miami. Speaking of which, should be excellent with Lisa’s marriage stuff happening in the middle of filming! I feel bad for her, but she deffo should have seen it coming, Lenny was so distant last season.

I feel bad for Lisa. If you watched the original first few seasons of Miami he seemed to put huge amounts of pressure on her to have children. He was distant to her then because they were struggling to conceive and then now she has the two kids he was desperate for he goes and has an affair/ leaves her. Must be a hard pill to swallow.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed the trailer for UGT3! I wasn't sure how these ladies would mesh together, but it looks good!

I feel sorry for Lisa that she has no self esteem. It was very obvious from the first season that she was nothing but a trophy wife for Lenny. She asked him so many times if he loved her and if their life was good and he just stared back at her. Their split came as no surprise. I was underwhelmed with the trailer because it's mostly about their split that I've been expecting for 10 years.

I could also take or leave Marysol. When she came back for season 4 she seemed to have studied all the other housewives and was trying to be like them. She used the "take a sip" instead of answering the question in confessional like Rinna, she used the term "hunky dory" like Kathy, she said Melissa Gorga's Jesus line at the reunion and this season she is dressed like Dorit in a confessional. I wish she would just be herself. I'm glad Lea Black is making an appearance! I'd like to see her come back as at least a friend

I think there is only so sorry I can feel for someone like Lisa, she was with him because he is rich, he is with her because she is pretty, that is not a relationship it is more like a business transaction she must have known what she was getting herself into, I can imagine if he somehow went bankrupt she would have found a reason to leave him

He was clearly lit at the reunion and wanted to have words with her (he said to Giselle, I quote ‘I’ll talk to you later’’). It obviously had to do with Candiace and I struggle to believe he decided to go to her room to get it on with her. I’m assuming the place was crawling with production, the other ladies and more importantly his wife.

It’s an odd time to decide to talk badly about Candiace as well, as Giselle claimed he did (She couldn’t say what it was - if she was soooo uncomfortable as she claims she was, I think she would remember it word for word). So I’m with Robyn on this - no big deal, he’s just being Chris. And Chris is pretty good in the world of rh husbands. He seems to love her, supports her, doesn’t take her tit, is no pushover and will say when she’s wrong. And I think they’re coming after him because he’s Candiace’s Achilles heel.

She handled it brilliantly and gave it zero life by walking away and calling production (and screaming out all of Darby’s indiscretions over the years 😂). It’s a weak attempt at a storyline on Gizelle’s part. As I started with, I love her, I even love her fashion and west wing disasters because she’s unapologetic but but but there’s something off about her lack of a love life. I don’t buy she likes to keep it quiet, I think she just can’t a close connection with anyone other than her daughters (and maybe Robyn).

Totally agree with everything you said here! Also think Gizelle is great, but yeah targeting Chris like this does not make sense at all.
 
I think everyone should give the 2 first seasons of RHOM a try. You'll fall in love with Marysol, or at least, I hope so. Adriana's marital situation was so crazy for such early days housewives.

The only thing keeping me going is Andy saying that Dorinda will be unpaused SOON (also loved that the new cast got booed)
