100% about the OC, the whole first few series were insane. It was started based on Laguna beach (the real OC) after the teen drama the oc. Crazy to think about it now.

I agree about the fact that so many people in newer franchises now just want to become famous, weirdly miami has somehow avoided the fakeness of it all somehow and is the only new one I still watch

It qas just weirdly depressing, I like emily but just about her husband and her health issues , people that aren't really well off in small houses... I want the drama and watching people with insanely lavish lifestyles (even if they come xrashing down- what was the OC family who were served notice and it was almost exactly the same as the drama series?)

The woman that couldn’t control her two girls ? That were spoiled wee brats ? Or are you thinking about Tammy and her 3 kids ?

The first seasons were crazy. And really raw. Lauri and her son. Then was it Tammy who was evicted but it was her daughter who got the notice from the bailiff?

I binged all seasons in the space of 6 weeks and I was so sad when it was over. So I’ve recently started RHONY and it’s so good! But I have so many questions and I don’t want to google anything in case of spoilers.

1. Were the viewers on team Bethany or team Jill?
2. Did the viewers ever stand up for Alex? I hated how the women kept telling her she was going red.
3. I loved Kelly until scary island, then I found myself siding with Ramona. Am I normal??
4. I feel like the show is hinting at something dodgy with Mario and Ramona.
5. Was Aviva well-liked by viewers? I can’t stand her.
6. What’s the deal with S6 LuAnn? She’s not in the opening credits or holding the apple but she’s in every episode. Does something happen to her? Does she walk out before the end??
7. Finally, I really liked Heather until I saw the way she treated Kristen. Was Kristen well-liked? Please tell me she’s not still with her revolting “entrepreneur” husband!!

final thought - the only person I had heard of was Bethany but she was only on the show for like 5 minutes. I’m assuming she was super popular? Did she have any more children??

1- I was on Bethenny’s team. Jill just went a bit crazy and acted as if she owned Bethenny. Beth truly was devastated at their break up and it seemed to mainly be a reaction of Beth getting attention and Jill no longer ‘the one who brought her in the fold.’ I remember it being one of the first friendship breakups on a RH franchise and it was real and raw.
2- Alex was always overshadowed by that twit husband Simon and she made some poor choices (shoes) but I always felt she was a genuinely nice person and when she did try to stand up for herself I was proud of her!
3-Never ever liked Kelly. That meeting with Beth where she said she was ‘up here‘ and Beth was down there? She could fuck right off. And then she didn’t want her ‘image’ out there with the other women? She was a mess and her only redeeming feature was Scary Island. That trip made her an legend RH. Because without that she would have definitely been up there with Cindy (who?)
4- Mario was probably cheating the whole time 🤷‍♀️
5- Avila was vile and so was her father.Throwing her leg is her I’m not Cindy moment
6- Luann was managed into a friend. They soon realised their mistake and her Apple was returned the following season.
7- Heather was initially cool and then became not so cool. Maybe it was the younger boyfriend who ditched her or it was the marathon or it was the ‘I’m so cool I wear Beyoncé’s clothes. Whatever it was, I was glad to stop hearing her say ‘the narrative’. She wasn’t iconic enough to forgive all her missteps however she’s no Cindy.

Agree, it took me a couple of goes of watching before I was hooked!!

Bit off topic, I'm watching Traitors USA, whoever done Tamaras hair needs to be fired, it looks dreadful and the extensions are so noticeable, maybe she's running out of money that's why she's on this show!!
