I'm the right kind of age to know her voice but would never actually recognise it in a million years because (in the UK) she's only really known for that one song and, like me, it's bloody ancient!

Having listened to that 2019 video, I'm convinced it is Tiffany although someone is going to have to guess her first so they can remind the audience what she looks like - I would never have recognised her from that video!

As if it wasn't a fix tonight with Jennifer Saunders on the judging panel and Julia Sawalha being unmasked 🙄

Exactly. There’s no prize, there’s no public vote so no one’s getting ripped off, no one is paid out of license payers’ money, the panel’s guesses are clearly scripted and there’s no actual requirement to demonstrate or develop a skill as it’s all people who either are professional singers already or people who are not singers and never will be.

It’s just manufactured silliness to fill in a few dull January evenings. 🤷‍♀️

Laurie Brett can SING she won a Celebrity singing she on the BBC a few years back. Plus she's been in musicals

Unless they've got a really distinctive voice, like Dionne Warwick, i don't have a clue who people are.

Took me a couple of shows to work out Richie Sambora last year and been a fan for years.

Especially considering that the panel (especially Jonathan and Davina) probably know the vast majority of the contestants to a greater or lesser degree, whether professionally or personally (or both). There’s literally no way that they did not know it was Lenny Henry after the amount of work they’ve all done together in the past.
