Did anyone else watch this? It is my favourite TV show of all time and I put it so far ahead of anything else, I don't think I'll ever find a show I appreciate more. I don't know anyone else who has seen it :( The irony is I was going to ditch it after series 1 finished, because barring a couple of stand-out episodes, I found it a bit slow and the teenage kids annoyed me. Thankfully I stuck with it as series 2 completely changes tack and delivers some of the most soulful, emotionally charged TV I have ever seen. Series 3 is also wonderful.

Every few years I feel its time for a rewatch and I am at that point again now. Just wondered if anyone else enjoyed it too.

I read the book (which is incredible) and started watching the show but I felt like it lost it’s way. Shall I give it another go? Carrie Coon was outstanding in it from what I remember.

She was fantastic in it. I have had the book next to my bedside for a few years but I never got round to reading it. I think only series 1 covers the book, then the show sort of takes its own course after that. S1 is pretty average. I was still wavering over it halfway through S2, thinking "is anything ever going to be explained here?". Then it just goes stratospheric and from S2ep5 the rest of it is like an emotional gut punch, in a powerful and beautiful way. So many episodes I just sat for a while afterwards, thinking about it. Very rewarding.

I did not get it AT ALL. Gave up after a few episodes 🥴 found it v weird!😂

Enjoyed it for the most part, while the mystery was building, but the final season wasn't good.
When they started to make it ALL ABOUT those two like some romance drama I checked out.
Also hated the ending.
