It was also a big deal because she had it all done in one day, which is quite stupid really. She has said it almost killed her.

I think Heidi & her plastic surgeon (I think he’s since passed away?) drummed up so much press attention as a way of making money off of it all.
 
So this week they’ve attempted to give Justin some depth with a very contrived visit to his old house. To be fair he did seem very happy to go back though.
And they brought Kristin back to spice things up- she looked absolutely gorgeous.
Brody has gone back to drinking again after being a sanctimonious twit about it?!
I watched some Laguna Beach on YouTube to remember how Jason used to be- forgot how much of a gaslighting wanker he was. Wonder if there is any of that left in him despite the Mr Nice act.

Not sure if you've seen on The Hills Instagram a snippet from the lads on a little snow holiday or break whatever Brody now has the tit stirring spoon from Audrina so they do suit each other.
 
Kristen is SO gorgeous, bit I still don't know how I feel about her. I know she very much leaned into the 'villain' role on Laguna Beach and The Hills, but even in Very Cavallari I still got 'mean girl' vibes from her. I do love her jewellery line though, and I think her appearance on this series highlighted how much of a shitshow the others are - she seems to be the only one with her life together.
 
I thought her and Jay would last. I admire how they refuse to witch too much about the other, co parenting seems a genuine priority as is keeping the kids out of the limelight. Though him being a quarter back in the NFL gave her lifestyle a different league and probably prevented a certain neediness the others seem to possess. Her own company certainly seems successful too.

Probably to sweeten MTV. when she was doing VC she was tied into a contract with the E! Network, she wasn’t allowed to appear on The Hills. Since VC has been scrapped, she’s free to work on an MTV show again so is probably hoping to get back in with them so she has a clear run for any future MTV project, not just the Hills.
 
I think it’s really interesting that the perception of Kristin, Lauren etc has changed overtime.

A lot of people no longer like Lauren and find her toxic, which I kind of understand… but what’s fascinating is how people now ignore a lot of Kristin’s bitchiness?

I actually don’t really have a problem with either of them - I think they’re both good examples of people containing multitudes and having both positive and negative attributes (which is rarely seen on reality tv!). But just because we’re now seeing Lauren could be a bad friend, doesn’t mean Kristin wasn’t also a terrible person at times?

I’m not articulating myself well! Agh! But if you look at Laguna Beach YouTube comments you’ll see what I mean.

Oh me too. Loathed him in Laguna Beach, he was an absolute tit to Jessica and Alex M. When Lauren got with him I was like NOOOOOOOOO
 
Just caught up with latest episode I know it’s probably fake but I love Jason’s and Justin Bobby’s bromance 😂.
I actually watched all of Laguna beach when I was isolating last year, Kristin has always been my favourite. She’s not aged at all! Shame she’s not back in this for longer

I like the Jason Justin Bobby bromance and I do think it is genuine. Plus Jason needs a friend as Spencer the fake ain't to be trusted ask Brody who is a tit stirrer too. Where is Brandon?
I know most of it is scripted and fake arguement but hey still watch it 🤣
