I think Ben has something to do with his disappearance. I think it was him that Mark rang at the police station saying he had to give a DNA sample. I can’t figure out why the dad would want his own child to be abducted though - wondering if maybe Jodie was having issues when he was little? As her family have made a few comments (ie her dad blaming her, family not seeming very supportive).
 
Why did she need a fake DBS? That was never addressed. Was it just to pave the way for the fake passport for Daniel?
Why did Mark let her into the house and offer her tea when he clearly told her they weren't having music lessons.

Why did the head allow her to continue in the school when he knew the DBS was fake?

Loads more holes too. It was as far fetched as a bucket of tit from China.
Maybe it was meant to be a longer series and they had to cut it into 4 episodes.

It really was ridiculous. Are we to assume shes now with Mark and Daniel or were they just there at the wreath laying as bystanders? Why was Tom's dad not pushing the wreath out with her? He stood a mile away with his wife?
 
It did seem rushed.

Did she not get punished for using fake dbs/ passport? Maybe there was more to the story and she turned the criminals she bought them from as part of a deal . I don't think the chainsaw would keep them away from being after the man working illegally forever.


I think it would be nice if Mark saw happy Daniel was having some one to share his passion for music and let her teach him guitar.

The DBS was explained. She needed it to work in the school.

Yeah but why a fake one? It made it seem like there must have been something on her real dbs that would mean she couldn't work at a school but they just ignored that. I'm assuming the only reason she got a fake one was to set up the plot for when she went to get a fake passport

I assumed she had a criminal record? That's what I thought for her wanting a fake DBS? My DBS didn't take long.. Quicker than her fake one 😂
