Sad Syed/Hashu didn't do better, but I'm so glad that Manrika didn't win.
I saw an article saying that Sammy last year didn't get near the flak for game playing Manrika has gotten, suggesting that it's sexism that's informing people's reactions. However, to me there difference between Manrika and Sammy or Freddie is that she is neither honest with the players, the viewers or herself about her game playing. If she came on and was honest with herself and us that she's going to be a witch and a snake, then I can deal with that.
But she went on about how she's so genuine and got everyone's backs and then backstabbed Tally, used games for being underhand and then was woe-is-me when the boot ended up on the other foot.
Ultimately she lost because she had a big habit of blocking her biggest supporters and her snakey behaviour during the middle of the game meant any of andy's loyalty went to other players.
I'm glad to see though that she didn't vote tooo tactically at the end. I expected her to put Tom first.
And in this game, I think Natalia was exactly right - if she'd been herself Manrika would have been out to get her.
