nah i’m sorry but i refuse to believe it’s just ‘editing’. i’m sure the show does edit a lot out however everything shes done has been completely true to herself and just plain nasty 🤷‍♀️ no amount of editing could make her look that bad, it’s her. no ones edited together her making that vile painting & stabbing everyone in the back loool, everything that comes out of her mouth is nasty towards other players, atleast own up to it not make excuses for yourself. manrika is deffo the type of girl to call herself a bad witch, no you are just a mean girl who excuses her actions with some ‘boss witch’ quotes 😂

interested to see what she says in her q&a, doubt it will be anything important but the ‘many contracts on their part have been broken’ is interesting. wonder what’s been going on behind the scenes. i find it funny how the producers must of thought everyone would LOVE manrika at the time, not quite sure who thought that??? but it’s so obvious.
 
I’m glad all this is coming out about Manrika. A bully and a thief, seems like a lovely person.

I have very little sympathy for her when it comes to the ‘hate’ she is getting, death threats are obviously not ok but that goes without saying. How ever it seems like she has been plenty hateful towards others in the past and now it’s coming back to bite her. You reap what you sow, hun.

Good for the girl who Manrika bullied for speaking out, not an easy thing to do.
 
even BEFORE the circle her tiktoks were nasty and so beyond cocky, she came across like such a high school bully (ironic) or just a girl that would laugh at u in the street with her mates. along with her bestfriend issy oakley who also made nasty tiktoks... i remember she’d make tiktoks slating others and making her followers bully them, i really don’t think manrika was too far off that 🤷‍♀️

Yeah it's obvious the producers have been more involved this series and given them more direction in what to do, BUT you can't edit together footage to make someone look that bad if it wasn't there to begin with 🤷‍♀️ edited or not, she said all of those things
 
manrika just seems so bleeping nasty & horrible, surely they could of done a few background checks on her? someone like that absolutely does not deserve a platform, let alone 100k!!!! she said what she said, that’s NOT just editing.

i will say though, this series has been a bit of a tit show if i’m honest. not necessarily for the viewers as i’ve found it pretty entertaining (tit at times) but it doesn’t seem like the producers had any respect for anyone in the show, clearly broke contracts too? many of the old cast have said how much they regretted being on the show. i honestly think this will be the last season 😢 wish the producers would of stayed out of it.
 
I wonder if the contestants who remained friends with her after the circle are now going to distance themselves from her or if they’ll turn a blind eye. I would not want anything to do with someone so obviously snakey and dishonest.

I am starting to think Manrika didn’t win and I hope I’m right. Maybe those videos about not having money worries for Christmas really were about becoming an influencer full time and getting modelling contracts, doing a sketch for the bbc etc.

I read somewhere that the winner won’t actually get the money until it’s been announced publicly. No idea how true this is but it makes sense especially these days with people posting everything on social media, it would be easy to give away even without directly saying it.
 
Glad to have found this thread! I have been fan of The Circle since the beginning and think that the first series was the best, probably because if it’s newness for both them and us. Of course similar to Big Brother as it carries on it gets more produced and they choose less “normal” people and more of those who already have a platform, but I think it has gone too far this series.

I think there is a way to play the game and not be as nasty and vindictive as Manrika is being. Alex/Kate played the game and won in series one and yet remained kind and respectful of the other players. I know that how the show is now is similar to how social media really is, but it just makes me uncomfortable how far Manrika is taking the nastiness. I felt similar last year when James/Sammie started bullying. He himself has said since he realised how he had become a bully and almost quit the show at that stage. Even though Vithun was quite a background character I do feel he was vulnerable and have read that former contestants have said they don’t receive much care after the show and many regret doing it. I worry about him because of how he was treated by Marika and when he met Andy he was crying as he was hugged.

If it is true that Marika has a past of bullying and stealing then she certainly shouldn’t have been picked for the show. If this show was actually live there would be a good chance she would be removed for that. If she does win, it’s extremely poor and really doesn’t bode well for the show going forward in the future.

I’m all for playing the game but there is a line and she has certainly crossed it. I personally have found most of the other contestants enjoyable and there is no need for the way she has behaved.
