Everyone on social media seems have the exact same opinion as each other of the show/contestants for once, it's hilarious. I bet the producers/channel 4 didn't expect this much of a backlash towards Manrika and the production.

I definitely agree, they probably haven't seen this coming but bleeping hell how could you not? Maybe not to the same extent but c'mon how wouldn't you think she might not be well received? At least by some people...

I actually don't mind the twists normally but that one just puts manrika's support back in, which is obviously a pain in the ass. It's a new apartment I think. I am assuming dot is in the other 2 bed? They obviously spent money on it and wanted to use it. The fact that it's 2 tit players in there is unfortunate.

I don't believe they are setting things up for manrika to win though. I don't think they would want that. She's a witch. They got enough backlash with awful Paddy. I think it's just an awful coincidence.

Yes, it looks like they manipulated it to have minimal vithun, but they probably realised early on he's terrible tv and so wanted rid of him for that reason. Same with wanting Gemma to visit Manrika. If she had gone to see Dot, it would have been less good tv. And they maybe wanted to open James's eyes to who she really was. If anything, I would say the whole chat from syed re the snake painting was probably the producers trying to out manrika a bit. Because him knowing it was her came from nowhere.

I don't believe that they would have influenced what contestants say or who to vote for either exactly. They each have a producer, yes. Who probably leads them with questions, as in "what are your thoughts on what he just said? do you think he's telling the truth?" because they need that element of the contestant speaking their thoughts out loud in order for the programme to be entertaining.

James seems to be very angry at the whole production but there was no hint of that in what we watched. I'd say his vitriol is more regarding the initial public backlash against him for playing an nhs nurse. Yes, he said the producers insisted on that idea, but he came up with it first. And the show NEEDS catfishes. I don't imagine it's easy getting people to agree to be one. He can't claim they edited him badly, because they didn't. He was actually popular with the public when he left. It'll be interesting to see if he's at the final (assuming it has already happened) and if so, how his body language is. If he's all smiles (until manrika wins) then I'm probably right.

james is just pure bitter that he didnt win, he’s coming across like a child. Has he never seen reality tv before??? 😂 this is the part and parcel of being on one of these shows, it’s often manipulated by production, it is after all just about ratings for the channel in the end. I mean hasn’t he seen big brother ?? I have no idea what his issue is as you said he didn’t come across too bad, they certainly didn’t make into a villain. I feel he was portrayed pretty fair. I didn’t like him from the start and his attitude now shows me I was right 😂
