I’d like to say I’m shocked to hear she was a school bully.. but I’m not!

That tik tok video ...just wow. I genuinely have no words. I love reality tv for the trash entertainment of it all and have a long time but I think this and a few other things I've been watching lately have just pushed me over the edge tbh. Society is headed the complete wrong way, the worst people get praise and admiration for being quite self-centred, narcissistic & genuinely quite nasty people and I just can't keep exposing myself to it ...it's very depressing.
 
Just finished watching the show and catching up on old thread, will read this one in a minute. I really hope Manrika doesn’t succeed in getting Andy blocked, she needs to go before him! Also she is crying about her Mum struggling, but her Dad drives round in some flash expensive car - if he ruined their lives why doesn’t he give a helping hand!
I really hope Syed wins but have a feeling Manrika will 😩 unless something happens to catch her out amongst the newbies. It’s looking like the show has been conditioned for her to win though.
 
There’s an interview on Radio Times with the creative director Tim Harcourt. I thought this part was interesting, it pretty much confirms what James said the other day. I knew that someone was typing their messages, but the fact a producer is involved in deciding what they say is really disappointing :(

Wow! I guess that’s why the talk and discuss what they’re thinking out loud so the producers can manipulate them into saying what they want them to say!
 
What the duck was last nights episode? Is this the Manrika show now?

Not surprised Manrika was a bully, she totally gives off that vibe. It must be awful seeing your bully being celebrated like this. It’s always people who don’t deserve it who end up having good things happen to them.

I’m starting to get annoyed at this show, this series seems too engineered and it’s showing in a bad way. We hate Manrika, stop trying to make her happen.

OK so just wanna preface this comment by saying I don't condone anybody sending abusive messages to people for any reason.

I'm not sure if it's been posted on here but did anyone see Manrikas "be mindful" video? I've just come across it on Instagram and I'm annoyed by it. Firstly, I don't actually believe she is getting messages that are telling her to kill herself or threatening her or her family- I just don't believe it, wrong of me or not I think it's a lie. Secondly, why after saying this has she immediately brought up Caroline Flack as a moral compass token? why do influencers in general keep doing this? It's blatant tokenism, totally disingenuous & it's disrespectful as duck. Whatever happened with CF I'm not here for every z lister using her death as a get out of jail card every time somebody says "hey that thing you did was a bit crappy". It's become a real issue in itself tbh.

Oh she is getting messages unfortunately, she’s been posting them on her stories on Instagram and they are absolutely vile! A man day before yesterday said he hopes she dies!

Edit: People need to remember this is a TV “GAME” show not even reality, it’s a game to win 100k that is heavily edited and manipulated, we all know this - she probably isn’t the nicest person but she’s probably being egged on by a producer. No one deserves to be trolled on social media so in this case unfortunately I stand with Manrika!

I don't doubt that she is getting some hateful messages & I'm sure they won't be nice but are they really telling her to kill herself and threatening her/her family?? If so then that is awful and obviously I'm wrong for saying she is lying.
