The difference between Emily and Alex/Kate is that Alex researched women before trying to catfish as one and probably wouldn’t have been caught out on something as basic as makeup

Yeah and Dot/Scott had a folder which literally included dates of the Falklands war and other key dates knowing people would try to catch him out with that if you're gonna play a character play it well!
