I think some shows lose their sparkle once they’re popular because the people on it are doing it for their image rather than to be entertaining. Same thing happened to Love Island, as soon as it blew up the people on it were clearly there to make themselves marketable as influencers rather than to be themselves and make entertaining telly. It feels like that might be the case with this lot too.
 
Yeh something feels very off with this season I'm not feeling it at all. Still going to watch it right enough. I didn't make it through the first episode last night. I found it so boring. Had to catch up today 🤦‍♀️
 
I was pleasantly surprised by the first US Circle and was glad they basically kept it the same as the original. Something seems off with this series so far! It’s a bit cold. I thought the same with a previous post on here, I was surprised blue hair woman was so open about who she wanted out and who was a threat. It was only the first blocking! Calm darn!
 
@Fifi999 I read your comments on Instagram and totally agree with everything you said. I think you should have shared screen shots of his trolling of you. Having been on the receiving end of a troll a couple of times in the past, both times by ‘men‘, I know it’s not a pleasant experience. I’m lucky that I’ve got particularly thick skin and stood up both arseholes. Like you said, people in glass houses...

And in a pandemic with much fewer flights, did they all come in on different flights and did they have to self-isolate for a time before going in? I’m sure there must have been an apartment block in New York that would have been suitable. Unless it’s like Danny Dyer’s The Wall which is filmed somewhere in a Eastern Europe I think, or Total Wipeout that had a world-wide franchise and was filmed in Buenos Aires?
 
Okay I’m done! Not gonna lie, felt SO weird watching without you guys to talk to! I don’t like it.

Just a couple of my thoughts -

Chloe - can’t stand her. That rap and the “dance” 🤢🤢 when she said “I didn’t come in here for romance” don’t think I’ve ever eye rolled so hard.

I am loving Courtney! And Savannah. The 2000s R&B chat made me so happy - yes to Cassie Me & U - he’s right it IS a BOP!!!!

Fuck me I feel like that influencer chat went on forEVER. I don’t think I like Terilisha anymore 😕

Oh my GOD Lee crying 😭 stop it, that would be me lmao, I get so attached to people. I’d cry if any of you ever said you were leaving 😭😭😭

I love that Bryant didn’t care Lee was a catfish. He seemed to understand the game even if he was a bit too hippie ish for me.

Apparently they use two on each floor. At opposite ends of the corridor. I remember hearing that people in series 1 UK said they could hear Freddie when he screamed and shouted

Thank you. Your comment actually made me cry 😢

I’m like a normal person who enjoyed the show and watched all their Instagram lives and commented on their pages, as I genuinely loved the show. I only got into it after the celebrity version, so maybe I was such an eager beaver, love bombing them all on Instagram.

Thinking about it, I just think how incredibly narcisstic it is for someone to google search their name next to the word hate, read the comments, single one person out who wrote something tame and have the arrogance to confront them via DM on another account. He saw my story that night which I thought was strange so I literally blocked him and then got a DM from another account and an Instagram blast where his intention was for his fans to send me negativity. It’s frightening and bullying behaviour in all honesty. I know my Instagram doesn’t have my actual name on but it has my picture, my family etc, I never put myself on a tv programme so for him to dox me like that is really unforgivable. I just thought if he has the audacity to do it to me and I’m in my 30s, imagine if he did it to a younger person with no family or friend support network. We are in a pandemic and all struggling mentally and quite honestly this forum makes me happy just talking about tv programmes / ridiculous influencer behaviour with with like minded people. I’ve never in this forum read any real hate, racism or misogyny. If I did I would be out.

He could genuinely dox the wrong person and it could be very damaging. The fact he is even in this campaign physically makes me sick. Genuinely.

So apparently I'm unreasonable to expect my husband or daughter to get off Netflix so I could live watch The Circle with you guys 🤣🙈 I might have to download a few to have as back up. Didn't like watching without you all and it was a boring episode and even more boring without the commentary on here! Too much introspection for my liking..I like my 'reality' TV to involve less use of my brain 🤯
