We've been very lucky here, right on the coast and fairly elevated but there is severe flooding not too far away. This is a photograph of one of the major roads into Cardiff ( close to our daughter's home). and the parkland leading to Cardiff Castle and the City Centre. The Rhondda and Gwent Valleys have been hit particularly hard again.

Nikki: I really like this collection of ornamental bottles. They would have been lovely if they had been green or orange, but as they are blue, they will sadly not go with our colour scheme, and so we will have to leave them.
Fanny: Phillip! Look at these ornamental bottles! Aren't they beautiful? Exquisite. Of course, they are blue and do not match our colour scheme and we have no where in the chateau to keep them. We can always change the wallpaper to a blue pattern- get one designed especially for us by the Fluerries, pay a fortune for it and then get Gerry to slap it up when we next invite him so that he can drop mummy and Percy. It will give us an excuse to buy more blue stuff if we buy this blue stuff. Snorts: You are so clever darling. And we can always store it for five years - or at least tell people we are storing it for five years - when we mean ten. Let's face it, no one will remember. Fanny: Genius Phillip. Oh how bloody convenient that AnneMarie has to demolish the bedroom walls before the beam can be replaced and then just as he was about to start his FIRST piece of work this year he has an unfortunate accident. What a total load of bullshit comes out of her mouth every time she opens it. The only positive to this is that it must take her a lot of time plotting the next moves to keep ahead of total exposure which would show her as the lying defrauder she is. One can live in hope that this continual ducking and diving to cover up her trail of lies causes her unbearable stress, it hasn’t happened yet but surely it can’t be too far off.

How long can the Chapel remain unfinished, the heating remain unfinished, the big room remain unfinished, the back passage remain unfinished, the kitchen remain untouched, the boot room remain untouched, the bread oven room remain untouched, mummy dear and the walking shroud‘s room remain unfinished, the Jardin Anglaise remain unfinished, the fountain remain unfinished, the facade remain untouched, the terrace and steps remain untouched, the boiler room remain unfinished, AnneMarie’s workshop remain unfinished, her bedroom and adjacent office remain unfinished, the attic bedrooms remain unfinished, the attic bathrooms remain unfinished, the attic itself remain unfinished, the chicken house remains unfinished, the lake remain untouched. I’m sure there must be other endeavours that have been started but never finished that I have missed along the way. Maybe the weight of carrying on with all these lies will wear Fanny down but then again why should it when the money keeps on pouring in allowing her to indulge her passion for buying pretty things be it clothes, jewellery or objects for the shittoo.
 
I think it likely that Cuz had a pre planned surgery and that it was scheduled to postpone the not so grand salon crap for another year. They made up the story about Loser Herbert Philip rushing Cuz to the emergency room. He will not be able to start taking down the walls in the room in the freezing cold at the dump for a couple of months. By then, it will be time for the B &B season to begin. There is absolutely no reason to wait for the slowest man in France, perpetually pickled Cuz, to tear down the walls in the not so grand salon. Bed-and-breakfast is only 3 to 4 days a week. He could’ve been tearing down the walls or portions the walls in the not so grand salon for months.

It does not require specialized expertise and it does not need the specialized touch of Cuz, the man who could not complete the Taj Mahal of boiler rooms in two years or even a second radiator cover. I believe it will take several weeks before Cuz will be released to do any work in the not so grand salon, and then Stephanie will claim that he will have to postpone it until November, 2025 because it would disrupt the bed-and-breakfast season. I believe they still have the rooms that are supposed to be demolished for the bed-and-breakfast for 2025. Demolishing the walls of the not so grand salon it’s not really the job of a master carpenter. It is a waste of his expertise. Who hires a master carpenter to do basic tear down work? Pervy Daddy Derek did that type of work himself at the Dump, with zero specialized training or skill. Stephanie is a pathological liar and first class idiot come up with such a stupid half assed excuse. Remember her saying that she and lazy, weak loser Herbert Philip could demolish the walls?

This was another coordinated scam by Stephanie Jarvis to avoid paying out any money or contractors to tear out the not so grand on walls and ceiling, and have the structural metal beams placed in the not so grand Salon. To restore the entire area and build new bedrooms and bathrooms is going to be very expensive and Stephanie does not have the money available to spend on the project nor does she want to spend any money on it. she will continue to postpone, lie, postpone, lie, come up with another catastrophe, etc.Rinse and repeat.

She specifically stated that the theme would be placed in the not so grand salon the first week of November, 2025. She is a con artist and a pathological liar. Now her big con is collecting money for a new terrace and steps and selling rental stars to allegedly finish the chapel. What happened to the 650,000+ dollars/ euros you collected on the rental star scam? How many dozens of stars did you sell in memory of Ratso 1.0

Americans came to the New World for opportunities and gave their thanks for the opportunity to escape the greed and tyranny of those people who lived in European chateaux. It's quite ridiculous and ironic for Europeans to celebrate our Thanksgiving. Like Canadians, you should establish your own.

As far as I know the Pilgrim Fathers - who had already flown from England to the Netherlands - emigrated to America for religious purposes, because they had separated from the Church of England. In my opinion, they were seeking religious freedom and I agree totally with this. Although I am French and a Catholic, I enjoy celebrating Thanksgiving with my American friends and other friends. It is an excellent opportunity to share a good meal and good vibes. Never miss an opportunity to entertain and to party.

Again why do the patrons not see that if she has always been able to travel so extensively why the duck is she begging-put your own hands in your very deep pockets Fanny. I used to find her likeable at the beginning but now she is just unwatchable. The dump has bad energy-Amaury arrived as a mini. Been looking at internet suggestions for a charcuterie board on a budget and they're piss poor. Thinking about France, Lalande, what's in season in France, and the absolute impossibility that any of the goons would think up a nice VEGAN/Vegetarian/Piscatarian charcuterie platter to keep the budget low, I have persevered.
The centerpiece would be Rachel Ray's Baked Ricotta and Grapes, which, despite my doubts about the provenance, is absolutely to die for.

In honor of the eight Chateaumeillant vineyards within 25 minutes of Lalande, and the local habit of cooking fresh water fish in red wine, I'd try to devise something.
A Chateaumeillant red wine jelly to spoon on to a plain goat cheese from the local dude. Suitable toasts -- a sesame cracker perhaps.
Smoked local freshwater fish, say pike, brined in apple juice and smoked. You peel a flake off the filet and put it on a piece of buttered dilly bread.

I watched the Colombes's vlog about their chatelaines' weekend. They filmed everyone leaving the first brocante that they visited. All the others came out with empty hands, followed by Snorts carrying a huge pile of boxes with his porcelain plates, etc. You'd think they'd be embarrassed to be seen buying so much stuff. Fanny has lived in that chateau for twenty years and is still buying stuff for it. The others have only been in France for a few years and they don't buy a fraction of what she does. They are also.much more careful about what they choose to buy. Fanny and Snorts cannot go into one retail site, be it a brocante; a market, or a food shop, without buying something, usually in multiples. It reeks of desperation. They are both in serious need of therapy.

On January 22, 2024, there were $61,712.00 amount of current grift a stars remaining:

Constellation of Saint Aloysius $26,600.00
Constellation of Saint Henry $ 13,994.00
Constellation of Saint Charles Borromeo.$12,096.00
Constellation of Saint Felix. $9072.00

Total remaining $ 61,712.00

When the remainder of the constellation of Saint Cecelia is rebuilt, expect more stars to be grifted.


In the past 8.5 months, from January 22, 2024 thru today, Stephanie has sold $40,880 in rental stars
$61,712 - $20,832= $ 40, 880 in rental stars sold.

She has $20,832 remaining plus the entire repaired roof in the constellation of St. Ceciliam which has not yet been put up for sale. I think she will try to sell all the stars to get her self another $30-$40,000 + from this constellation, as well as selling the additional $20,832 in remaining stars, for a minimum of $60,832 or more by the end of this year. The amount could be much higher, depending upon how many stars there are to rent in the Saint Cecilia/ Saint Felix constellation.

Dan has that aesthetic -- how well the modern (in his case IKEA) goes with those creamy old stone walls. There was a really really old chateau, maybe a fortified one, in a town no one but the inhabitants have been to for 400 years, stone creamy and pointed with the perfect color so those rustic mortar lines and patterns show like Jackson Pollocks, but not overwhelmingly. They had the money to do MCM on the Noguchi curve and really good Scandi bare blonde Norwegian wood. Creamy linens, rough wools, and a touch of velvet and shiny silk and satin textiles. Spectacular. I can't track it down, but will never forget a seigneurial four poster bed of bleached rough peeled tree trunks.
I've never seen a chateau furnished with better taste, Including Catherine de Medici and her vulgar heavy additions to beautiful airy watery Chenonceau.
I can't believe how dumb people are.
